Last week, Olivia and I hit Target for a Back to School haul — and boy did that girl shop! Tomorrow, I will be posting more shots of her back to school looks.
Update…
It’s 2025 and I still remember those red boots. They were fabulous! Olivia wore them non-stop until they were almost worn right through.
I miss those days of back to school shopping with my little girl. Now she does all her shopping without me and she’s officially done with “back to school”… except perhaps in the future with post-secondary studies. But at the moment, she’s training to be a hairstylist and she plans to also train as a makeup artist. Since we live in what’s often called “Hollywood North”, she’s planning to perhaps work as a makeup artist on film sets.
She’s loved cosmetics and hairstyling since she was little and it’s wonderful to see her putting her talents to use.

Oh gosh – too hot for your boots eh? I have never owned a REAL pair of cowboy boots! I want so badly – but the real thing costs a ton. 🙁 But this west-coast girl needs to get her Texas on one of these days!
