Disney’s Aulani is paradise. I don’t think anyone could disagree.
Disney has created so much more than a resort. It’s a family immersion into authentic Hawaiian culture set in the most luxurious hotel, sprinkled with magic and presented with endless welcoming smiles and “Alohas” from the enthusiastic “cast members”.
I have so much to share with you about Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii and the phenomenal job Disney has done lifting up and celebrating the magic of the native Hawaiian culture, but let’s start with some of my photos of the ocean, beach and spectacular pools.
As I stare at these pictures, I let the beauty of Hawaii inspire me… Will you join me for some Hawaiian inspiration?

Listen, Watch and Relax
I put together a video slideshow set to the music played during the Grand Opening Celebration.
I love this music and I think you will too. It is “specially written and recorded for the resort by one of Hawai‘i’s most popular singers and songwriters, Keali‘i Reichel, and Grammy Award-winning composer Mark Mancina“.
My four days spent on this media trip went by too quickly and have left me dreaming of bringing my family to experience the magic of Aulani.
As CEO Bob Iger says, “Aulani is a premium resort” and for many of us it will take some serious saving to realize the dream of a family vacation at Aulani, but I’m setting it as a goal.
When I envision my ideal family vacation it is at Aulani and one day I will be there with my girls.
What About You?
Have you ever been to Hawaii? Have you been to any of Disney’s other vacation resorts? Are you a Disney Vacation Club member?
Have you ever set a goal of a vacation destination and then worked towards getting there?
More To Come…
I have so much more to share with you… check back soon for videos and more about what you and your family will discover in Aulani.

So jealous! Wow it looks amazing! We were just in WDW and I kept seeing all the ads for this new resort. Yes I’ve been to Hawaii and I can’t wait to go back! Great photos!!

Yes it truly was amazing and I too can’t wait to go back. You’re also lucky you were just in WDW, we are so far away from there… I wish I could go more often. (Jan and I live in Vancouver, Canada.)
