What I miss most about my girls being babies is baby wearing. My girls have grown into tweens and I desperately miss those days when I had a little baby wrapped snuggly against my chest — so close that we felt like one shared body bursting with love.
When I saw this brilliant Lalabu Soothe Shirt invented by a clever couple after their life-changing trip to Africa, I was blown away. I truly wish I’d had some of these shirts when I was carrying my babies.
My favorite style of baby wearing was a wrap that was basically a very looooong piece of fabric. So it took some time and effort to put it on before I could place my baby inside.
But this new Lalabu Soothe Shirt creates a similar sort of pouch for the baby to sit, and there’s no setup required.
I also love that the creators of this baby wearing shirt are young parents with a passion for giving back to Africa. They give 2% of all sales back to moms in Africa, supporting mom entrepreneurs through micro-finance.
