The Story Behind Chic Shopper Chick, Erika Lehmann

by Susan

These days you can’t spend long on Twitter or in the momosphere without hearing about Erika Lehmann.

Erika is the fashionable power blogging mom behind Chic Shopper Chick.

But a couple of years ago in the middle of the night, Chic Shopper Chick was just a 3 am inspiration brought to a quick life through the joy of Blogger.

Erika used her insomnia to push out the first two posts of her now popular website Chic Shopper Chick.

Here is a never before seen video interview with Erika last year at BlogHer in Chicago.

She tells Janice how she turned one sleepless night into an amazing work at home business.

Video Interview with Erika Lehmann

I love Erika’s story because so many of us have middle of the night crazy good ideas but don’t act on them. Erika shows us what is possible when we just go for it.

So tell us…

  • Have you ever had a late night idea that you acted upon?
  • What was the inspiration behind your own blog, if you have one? If you don’t yet, do you think you may create a blog soon?

Remember to click over and check out Chic Shopper Chick and follow Erika on Twitter @ErikaLehmann.

I’ve had so many sleepless nights with my blog before mommyhood tweaking and designing away. Now, I can only stay up a few hours or else there’d be consequences in the morning. I miss those days.

I absolutely love Erika and her energy ♥
