What a neat pic- made me a little sad to see that lonely leaf. I’d love to have a magnolia or a dogwood tree in my front yard. I keep hinting to my husband.

That seems almost sad. But, with the last magnolia comes the first peon and that says summer to me!!

And way up north, we’re just seeing our first real blooms (not magnolias, of course!).
I hate to see something so beautiful leave, but it leaves hope it will return with more beauty.

We used to get two bloomings out of our magnolia tree some summers. The smell is amazing!

I love magnolia’s but it makes me sad how they leave so quickly…just a good rain will wipe them all from the tree. I wish I could enjoy them longer!
