Join Me at Faith Lifts
I am trying to become a better, more consistent disciplinarian for my son. Join me at Faith Lifts as I discuss how disciplining my son is helping me to seek God’s discipline in my own life. I would love to hear your thoughts on how parenting your children has helped you to receive teaching from God.

Disciplining my boys has been one of the toughest things for me. Coming from a rough childhood, I have promised myself not to be too harsh with them, but there are times where I don’t kow what to do anymore! Time outs are the only thing I can do and will do..and then I speak very directly to them and let them know that I love them after they apoligize. I guess god loves us so I don’t really think he’s going to punish us as most of us think- I think he’ll facilitate a situation where we can really think about what we’ve done and hopefully will give us an opportunity to appoligize or fix things - then he’ll tell us he loves us! Kinda like a godly time out! Thanks again for the wonderful blog.
