Wordless Wednesday — “If I ignore him…”

by Janice

Rustico and AJ

“If I ignore him, maybe he will just go away…”

Poor Rustico — the elderly dog next door. Our A.J. is a hyper-friendly, super playful pup and Rustico is a tired old girl. But sweet Rustico is so patient with A.J., she just quietly tolerates him and walks away when she can handle no more.

I had forgotten that you got a new puppy in December, too! I think I saw some mentions on Twitter, right about the same time we got our new puppy. Congrats on the addition to your family – I TOTALLY hear you on the “playful” part, our little girl is a riot!

Well first of all, both of the dogs are too dang on cute! Secondly, I can so relate to poor old Rustico. She reminds me of myself, being almost 40 with TWO energetic PRESCHOOL BOYS!
