Wordless Wednesday — A Sneak Peak at my #LHOTPFabrics Project…

Little House on the Prairie Fabric

Sneak Peak…

For the past couple weeks, I have been working on developing a girl’s apron pattern and sewing up three aprons for Julia, Olivia, and Sophia. I am still working on finishing up the pattern instructions, but will have the tutorial and free pattern download ready for you later this week. I am so excited to share it with you.

The free PDF apron pattern includes child sizes small to extra large, as well as patterns for 15″ dolls and 18″ dolls. So make sure to check back later this week for my tutorial and free pattern.

In the meantime, click over and check out the beautiful Little House on the Prairie® Andover Fabrics Collection. I adore it.

The fabric is such wonderful quality and easy to work with. My aprons turned out perfectly.

It is extra special to be sharing a #LittleHouseMoment with our girls. Susan and I loved Little House on the Prairie growing up. I am so grateful we can share it with our daughters too.

These are adorable! I need to work on my sewing skills.

    1. Thanks Jennifer — dust off your machine or grab a simple one at the store. It’s SO fun and relaxing.

I sewed decades ago in my late teens. My machines are ones my parents bought me when I was 18 and taking night classes sewing. I just brought them out of the storage role of couple of years ago and I wish I hadn’t waited so long. I LOVE to sew. It satisfies my constant need to create and make “stuff.”

I hope to start posting a ton more sewing related content here. Oh I just need more hours in my day!

  2. Thanks for hosting. I’m new to your site, interested in looking around. Love the name too, each mom needs 5 minutes 🙂

    1. Oh so nice to meet you Sarah! Thanks so much for joining in. I am going to jump over to your site to say hello too. 🙂
