Wordless Wednesday

Wordless Wednesday

“Ok — On the count of three we jump…”

Wisely, three-year-old Sage is quite concerned with Jackson’s plan. My friend Crystal and I quickly add our warnings, “No, Jackson. Sage doesn’t want to.”

But as soon as the words are out of our mouths, Jackson seizes the opportunity and with a firm grip on Sage’s hand, he jumps.

Jackson is thrilled with their leap from the mountain of dirt, but it takes quite a bit of time to calm down a shaken up, dirt covered Sage.

Just remember Sage — boys can be trouble!

Love the picture! I found “WW” from Adventures in Babywearing, and thought I’d join in this week. My boy LOVES dirt. He would bathe in it if I let him.

  5. My very first “Wordless Wednesday” 🙂
I can definately imagine that scene – my kids are more or less the same age 🙂

Are Wordless Wednesdays without captions, explanations, etc? I enjoy them, want to participate, but am unsure about the “wordless” part as so many seem to have “words”

  7. If you jump, I jump! How cute but I’m sure they were pretty dirty later!

  8. LOVE THE T-SHIRT!! 😉

    🙂

Reminds me of my boys. But girls should know that when a boy takes your hand and jumps off a pile of dirt, that is just his way of telling you how much he really likes you. =)

  11. What beautiful children.

  12. And thus it begins . . . girls always fall for the trouble makers! My WW is up!

  13. LOL, boys for ya!

Poor Sage. I have to admit my girl is more boy than my boys are.

  21. Life With All Boys says:

They sure do love the dirt don’t they! It’s taken me awhile to just let them go. I hate the dirt. But I guess thats the boy in them and the girly girl in me!!

  22. Yep, boys can sure be a handful can’t they. Cute pic Janice. Happy WW! Mine’s up to.

  25. Yes, boys do like little adventures and getting dirty.

    Thanks for stopping by.

  26. Oh, my goodness, is that ever a classic picture of childhood. Sunshine and bare feet! I love it.
BTW, thanks for visiting my blog. You want a good coupon tip? Next Sunday, when you browse through the paper, check out the coupon circulars. (There should be two of them, but if you’re lucky there will be a 3rd one from Proctor and Gamble.) Instead of cutting out a gazillion coupons you’ll forget–only cut out the ones for products you use frequently…and put them in your wallet next to your money! That way if Angel Soft bath tissue, for example, goes on sale…you’re armed and ready!

  27. Adventures In Babywearing says:

Oh yes- and they just love to get dirty! It’s in their blood!
