With BlogHer almost here, the name HP is swirling around the blogosphere with their generosity sponsoring bloggers.

HP has two new stylish compact and portable photo printers, including the HP Photosmart A630 Compact Photo Printer, (which one of you will win!!) as well as a home printer featuring a new, affordable 5-ink printing system.
Last summer, we reviewed the HP Photosmart A626 Compact Photo Printer. We were so impressed with its print quality, its tiny, portable size and how easy it was to use.
But now today, with the HP Photosmart A630 Compact Photo Printer, they are just continuing to build on an already great product.
- The A636 has 300 creative options verses 200 on the A626
- The A636 includes a stylus for users to add captions and drawings to images

I have had a few HP printers and overall they have been good to use. Just to share, from what I understand you can get add a next day exchange warranty from HP for a little more. That way if your printer goes out, they will ship you another one the next day while you ship your old one back to them. That is an excellent idea!

This HP Photosmart A630 Printer has some very appealing specs and the feature I like the most is that you can print either with or without a computer. That makes this so versatile and mobile for us! Right now we have no means to make our own prints. We do rely on business like Kinkos and Staples to do that for us, so having this HP Printer would really save us a lot of time and money and give us the pleasure of making our own prints.

I like that this printer is compact. My photo printer takes up half my desk. It also takes three ink cartridges in order to accommodate all the colors. How archaic! Thanks for giving me the chance to move forward.

My husband never understaood the importance of pictures and would always say..”it costs so much money to get them developed”. So of course I still kept clicking away..Now with digital cameras and storing them on your computer..fantastic until your computer crashes (yes it happened)and lost E V E R YT H I N G ! so now I really beg to get house-money to get them printed. But it is so worth it. I call pictures (Le jardin de nos souvenirs)-(The garden of our memories). A personal printer is truly a gift. I love HP, it is all I will buy. I have had others but they do not compare and you can always find your cartridge, that is the best part. My present printer is about 5 years old and antiquated if that tells you anything, I guess I am about due.
With a new baby, we take a ton of photos. This would keep me from picking them up at Costco all the time.

I would really love to buy this. I need a printer soooooo badly. I bought one on e-bay supposedly brand new in box and some of it was missing and the person that sold it to me messed around saying he was sending the stuff until it was too late to send it back and get my money back. So I have a printer I can’t use and took up the money I had to get one, so can’t get another *sighs*…Good luck everyone

I’ve been wanting a photo printer since my birthday LAST YEAR! My husband didn’t actually remember my birthday though, well, he didn’t completely forget… he did go to Walmart THAT morning and picked the ugliest makeup bag he could find because it was the first thing he saw I’m sure. I would give the world for this photo printer. Photos are very very important to me and here is why.
When my daughter was five my parents took her from me due to my alcoholism. I moved to florida April 4 2007, the day my daughter turned 19, with 10 1/2 years sobriety, my car payed off and money saved for the move after years of working two and three jobs.
mothers day 2008 I saw her get her associates degree with 3.8 GPA. Even though she lives five minutes from me, she sent me a card saying thanks for being at my college graduation, standing beside me and cheering me on

i have never messed with printing pics at home. I would upload them and send them via email. Or put them in my photobucket account and print them from there. This would make life a lot easier!

A photo printer!!!!!!! Oh my goodness!!!! I have dreamed of having one. I take LOTS of pictures that end up sitting on discs or on my computer and they never get printed. Sometimes we just don’t have the $$$ to upload them to Walmart or CVS to get copies made up. I have always dreamed of a printer where I could take a picture and moments later be holding it in my hand.
