Update Your Home with DIY Lighting from Worth Home Products (Giveaway)

My husband built our house about eight years ago. Being on a tight budget meant that many of the features and accessories that we chose for our home were very basic. One such example is our home’s lighting. We installed relatively inexpensive (and boring) recessed light fixtures. Now, years later, we would love to change out some of those fixtures for something a little nicer to give our home a fresh, updated look.

I was so excited to learn about these instant pendant lights by Worth Home Products. I was even more excited to get the opportunity to try one out in my own home. They are a great way to easily convert your existing recessed lights to decorative and beautiful lighting.

These screw-in pendant lights are simple to install – they are literally as easy as changing a light bulb. Each conversion kit includes the adapter, canopy cover, cloth or decorative shade, and instructions. There is no re-wiring or special tools required. Simply unscrew the light bulb in your recessed light and screw in the instant pendant light. The patented spindle design allows you to adjust the cord length from 8″ to 48″. The coordinating ceiling canopy is used to cover your existing recessed light. It also helps save energy by sealing off the opening.

Take a look at the brushed bronze spherical cage lampcup that I received from Worth Home Products.

I decided to use this new light in the hallway off our kitchen that leads to our basement and garage. Right now we have a basic recessed light in that area.

After a couple quick steps (it honestly only took 10-15 minutes at the most), the new instant pendant light was in place and ready to go. I can’t believe what an impact and difference it makes to our space. It’s so pretty and I really love the new look! (The bulb I’m currently using is a little too bright but it’s all I had on hand at the time of this post.)

Worth Home Products Instant Pendant Light kits are available in a variety of styles. They can be found at Lowes, Home Depot, Home Decorators Collection, and Plow and Hearth. Visit their website for more information.
