Hi,
Just wanted to answer your comment on my blog. I have merged my scrapbook site and my regular blog and inlcuded layouts there for you to see. You said you were new to it and I hope you enjoy it. It’s a lot of fun to do and I have fantasies about my kids loving their books when they grow up. 🙂
P.S. I’m not really THAT organized. 🙂
U2 rules! REM too! 🙂
i loved growing up in the 80s, best of times 🙂
thanks for dropping by to see my TT too
Man, I feel old!
to answer your question about why two sets of comments.
Blogspot comments used to always malfunction, so I started using haloscan, but then some friends overseas complained they couldn’t access the haloscan, so I use both. Oh, and I’m a comment whore of course.
😉

Gosh I love Tears for Fears and U2-I think they have actually gotten better since the 80s. I love that music decade! My list is up!
oh my gosh… MEMORIES!
thanks for coming to my T13 today!
Great list! I love Howard Jones.
Great bands! Oh the memories. LOL
ahhhh. memories.
I listened to all of them too, except Howard Jones.
My TT is up.
I still enjoy listening to all of those bands. 🙂 Great list.
My TT is up now too!
In a way I’m surprised who many of these I reckonise as I was a true 80’s child (born Christmas 81) but oh my god does that bring back some memories. *runs away to find some 80’s music to listen too*
I loved 80’s music.
And more than one of my fav was on that list.
My own list is up.
Take care,
Frances
I listened to a LOT of those myself.
Ugh – I hated 80’s music! I was a hair metal headbanger. 😉
Yes -I am still listening to them still too! (And TLC – Depeche Mode was on the list – but I could only have 13!! But I was never into Duran Duran. I know everyone else was, but I just never did.)
Especially I still listen to 9-13 and REM and U2 are my favorite all time bands. I have seem them both in concert many times and I can’t get enough of them! Just love em.
Thanks for all the great comments and I loved your TT’s too.
It’s interesting how U2 has come back into vogue lately.
Thanks for visiting my site:)
Yours is the 2nd TT I’ve come across about the 80s and I LOVE it! I loved all 13 of those! I miss the 80s. 🙂
My TT is up.
I love that a few of them have stood the test of time and are still singing their hearts out. I listened to most of those too…I played. Stacie
Great list! I remember songs more than actual groups. I still like U2.
In the 80s? Heck, I still have some of those in my iPod NOW! LOL
Happy TT!
Oh my god! I love 80s music! And I’m deaf!
Long live the 80s!!
Wow – this really takes me back. I listened to them all…
“Who can it beeeeeeeee now”! *singing* Men at Work and Sting….wow.
My T T is published
It was all heavy metal for me. Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, AC/DC.
we had the same idea today!! love me some pet shop boys… and a little HoJo-
I love A-HA, REM, Sting, Pet Shop Boys and Simple minds, as for others I guess i’ll have to look them up, let me know what’s their most popular songs!! happy TT, mine is up
Fun list. I didn’t really listen to any of these, though. I’ll have to check them out.
Thanks for visiting my TT. Happy Thursday!
I like sting & REM
happy thursday 🙂
I listened to all of those, too! I miss the 80’s!
Don’t you just love the 80’s music! I’m a new TT-er
Ahhh, the memories that list brings me! Great list.
Thanks for visiting my t13.
I love the 80s. mostly that’s because I grew up then. But there’s no better music!
My list’s up
Memories…ah the memories…great list!
I was listening to U2 back then and John Cougar as well. Don’t think he was using Mellencamp at that time, lol. Happy TT!
Yip, all sound familiar and great. And I have a really tenuous connection with Simple Minds – my Godmother (who is my third cousin) is first cousin to the guitairist Charlie Burchill.
If that doesn’t make a celebrity, well I don’t know what does(!)
Fun list.
My TT is now up.
Love your site and your T13 banner is adorable. Thanks for dropping by.
Oh, my… I’m STILL listening to those bands! I have a whole folder on my Rhapsody account of 80’s faves. 😉
Is it bad that I still listen to them. I have most of them on my i[pod and have all the cd’s
No Depeche Mode or Duran Duran?
I miss the 80’s.
My 13 is up!
I listened to all of those too, except for #9 and #10.. never heard of them 🙂
Oh, wonderful memories, thanks for the list. Love them all!!! happy thursday!
I am not so good in titles. I recognize songs by the song itself not the titles. By the way, thanks for dropping by.
Tears for Fears and Aha . . . those brought back some memories . . . super great list!
That brought back great memories. I loved the Thompson Twins – when I was young I shaved my eyebrows off because of them. My TT is up.
Weren’t we all LOL
What is OMD? I should know this.
Great list!
