What was your favorite thing about being a kid?
Wow – it is difficult to come up with my favorite – I would have to say going to Bible camp, both as a “worker’s kid†when my parent’s volunteered and later as a camper.
What was your favorite subject in school?
Definitely NOT gym! English was my favorite. (And I hated typing! I still peek at my fingers and make tons of typos – thank goodness we aren’t still using typewriters!)
Who was your best friend when you were 10?
Elizabeth.
If you could be any animal what would you be?
A dog – cause they get lots of naps and also (usually) love people and having fun! I am kind of a Border Collie – totally spastic and obsessed with my work. (We had a Border Collie growing up – they are such awesome dogs!)
What would you change about your school, occupation, life right now?
I would get more sleep, have more energy and do less housework. And I would get regular pedicures. I am dying to get one – I have only had two in my life.
What is your favorite colors?
Since Susan had Julia, we have been on a pink kick — which is funny because we hated pink all our lives. I look terrible in pale pink, but can wear hot pink. My toe nails are hot pink right now.
I like blue I suppose the best. And green. I look best in black, dark or olive green, blue and some reds. No pale colours like yellow.
What is your favorite type of crust and topping on pizza?
A really good thin crust or else a nice, homemade fluffy crust – not greasy – and I love feta, spinach, artichokes, chicken, and pineapple – but not all together!!!

Finally! Someone who appreciates the aesthetics of pineapple on pizza. I was beginning to feel very lonely.
We had a border collie when our children were little – amazing how intelligent they are.
I can’t believe how many people have said English was there favorite subject. No surprise there I suppose!
