Susan and I are identical twins. People often ask us if we are alike, so I am devoting this Thursday Thirteen to our similarities and next week’s Thursday Thirteen to our differences.

13 Similarities Between Susan and Me

  1. We are both stress-merchants and overachievers with perfectionist tendencies.
  2. We both love TV and movies, but don’t get enough time to indulge in them.
  3. We both love rock concerts. Before we had kids, we went to at least 3 concerts a year.
  4. We both love each other’s child as our own.
  5. We both love to nap. No seriously – we really love to nap.
  6. We were both obsessed with getting high marks at school.
  7. We both talk too much, too fast and give too much information!
  8. We are each other’s best friend.
  9. We both love to read. But now that we are so busy, we rarely get time to read fiction.
  10. We both hate housework.
  11. We are both super-friendly extroverts.
  12. We both worry way too much.
  13. We are both nocturnal. Left to our own devices, we would work all night and sleep all day. As it is, we both stay up too late and get our kids into bed too late.

    Wow! I think I’m your long lost triplet! I too (or should I say 3?) love to take naps, stay up all night/sleep all day, and hate to do housework, love movies, am super friendly, and I love all my friends children as my own!!! Ha!

    I loved this one. I am a twin but my mom had my sister stillborn, so I have never known what it is actually like to be a twin. Also I am trying my first Thurday Thirteen, but my thing says delete link, what am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help.

    I don’t think you are just twins, I think you have a missing triplet – and it’s me!! You sound just like me in the things you like. I’ll have to join in Thursday 13 sometime, but not today, lol I’ve already been on the computer waaaay too much today already!
