My childhood playroom was well stocked. Not even frequent moves could stem the flow of toys in to that most colorful, comfy playroom. I was one of those kids who played with toys openly until about 10, then secretly until 12, maybe 13. Having a younger sibling and much-younger cousins meant that I got to play with toys longer than most. Sniff. You better believe the Christmas my oldest turned 4 there was an RC Car under the tree from Santa for me, . . .err. . .I mean my daughter!
I don’t know what it is about these cars, but I just love the way the child is in control. She’s in the driver’s seat. She’s in control. From race cars to dump trucks, my daughters and then my son would race, maneuver, drive, and park these RC vehicles all around the house. Some of our RC cars were even big enough to go up and down the driveway!
