I actually sat in Barnes and Noble and read the Spark Notes for Pride and Prejudice. Ever since I saw You’ve Got Mail, I’ve thought about reading it, but I figured that I’m too old to read it now – my brain is used to all the popular fiction I read and would have trouble with a classic. But one of the blogs was discussing whether or not people have actually read Jane Austen and I was shocked to realize that one of the Brontes had written everything I thought Jane Austen had written. So I felt obligated to know what I was missing 🙂
