Today we are joining in prayer for a sweet little boy named Micah, who is very ill and undergoing treatment for cancer.
Dear Lord,
Thank you for Micah and for the love he has brought his family. We praise you for lovingly creating him and we ask you to heal his tiny body. May you ease his pain and bring his healing quickly Lord. Please comfort and strengthen his family.
We also pray Lord that Micah will be home with his family this Christmas and able to enjoy the time without pain or discomfort.
We pray that Micah’s liver and intestines will return to normal function and size and that Micah’s fever will go down and his blood cells will return to normal
Thank you Lord, for our hearing our prayers. We know you love Micah and that you are with him and his family.
In the powerful name of Jesus Christ we pray.

You know, when I hear stories like Micah’s I am asking, why Lord. But then again — I know everything has a reason. Will I understand? Not this side of heaven.

It broke my heart when I heard about Micah. I’ve been praying for him for quite some time now.
This isn’t the forum I’m sure, but I want to congratulate you and Susan on 5 Minutes For Mom’s nomination for the CWO Best Group Blog award. You’re wonderful web site is very deserving of this nomination.
We feel for this family as we had a friend’s son die of leukemia this past Sat November 26, just three day shy of his sixth birthday. One of the things that sticks with me is that someone said, “Our God is still a God of Miracles”. Believe that one will happen here. We will add Micah to our prayer list here too.
