I even got to walk on the blue carpet too!

There was a pre-party inside the lobby of the Dolby Theater, it was four levels! I had  great time looking for celebrities and enjoying the party with other bloggers.

I was thrilled to be able to screen the movie in the Dolby theater, the same place as the Academy Awards.

I had a great seat in the 3rd row! It was perfect for capturing the moment when the cast appeared on stage before the movie.

Here is a video that I took as the cast appeared on stage.

Movie Review

A blockbuster movie franchise like the “Pirates of the Caribbean” is sure to release entertaining movies with every sequel. I can tell you that Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” does not disappoint. I was entertained the entire time, from the opening sequence to the thrilling end.

I highly recommend seeing the movie in 3D, it was an well worth it to see the special effects in 3D.

Without giving away any spoilers, I can tell you that the story is well written and I was invested in the characters the whole time. There are ties back to the first movie and prior to that as well. If you have not seen all of the Pirate of the Caribbean movies you will still be able to follow along.

Be sure to also stick around after the credits for a bonus scene! I can’t wait until you see that scene, it’s worth the wait.

About Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

Johnny Depp returns to the big screen as the iconic, swashbuckling anti-hero Jack Sparrow in the all-new “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.” The rip-roaring adventure finds down-on-his-luck Captain Jack feeling the winds of ill-fortune blowing strongly his way when deadly ghost sailors, led by the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle bent on killing every pirate at sea—notably Jack.

Jack’s only hope of survival lies in the legendary Trident of Poseidon, but to find it he must forge an uneasy alliance with Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodelario), a brilliant and beautiful astronomer, and Henry (Brenton Thwaites), a headstrong young sailor in the Royal Navy. At the helm of the Dying Gull, his pitifully small and shabby ship, Captain Jack seeks not only to reverse his recent spate of ill fortune, but to save his very life from the most formidable and malicious foe he has ever faced.
