Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion chopped (optional)
  • 1 jar 1 lb. 8 oz. Ragú® Old World Style® Pasta Sauce
  • 8 whole wheat hamburger buns or regular hamburger buns

Instructions

  • Brown ground beef with onion in large nonstick skillet; drain.
  • Stir in Ragú® Old World Style® Pasta Sauce. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium and simmer covered, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes. Serve on buns.

  1. I keep it on hand for a quick weeknight “fast food,” meal and serve it with whole wheat rotini pasta! I also use it for pizza sauce on homemade pizza!

  2. I brown onions, mushrooms and garlic then add faux hamburger and a jar of Ragu and serve over spaghetti. Oh, lots of cheese on top!

  3. Not very original, but I use it in my lasagna … I dress it up by adding tomatoes and more Italian spices as well as ground beef! Thanks for the chance to win!

    We use it a lot of different things from different pastas to pizza bakes, pizza itself. Simple Grilled toast with cheese and sauce. So simple so Versatile.

    I grew up on Ragu spaghetti. My mom has only ever used the mushroom Ragu sauce. I like the other varieties, too, but Ragu is the only kind I buy as well 🙂

  6. I have fond memories of my mother making sloppy joes! 🙂 I also love to use Ragu pasta sauce to simmer sausages in, it is so good over noodles! Also like making Lasagna Roll-ups! 🙂

  7. I like making meatballs with Ragu in the crockpot….my husband loves having meatball hoagies with provolone cheese.

  8. I like to make beefaroni with Ragu sauce, ground beef and elbow macaroni. Sprinke any grated cheese on top and it’s an easy casserole.
