Last year, we also ran a Lands’ End swimsuit giveaway, but I didn’t get a chance to try out a suit myself. They looked so fantastic and you all raved in the comment section about what great suits Lands’ End makes, but I had never worn one.
This time, Lands’ End let Susan and I try out suits as well as offering up a gift card as a giveaway. Thanks Land’s End!
To get the full Lands’ End swimsuit shopping experience, I measured myself and used their sizing charts, I used the virtual model feature AND I phoned the help line.
And am I impressed!
Shopping for swimsuits is not easy in person, let alone doing it online! I was a bit overwhelmed at the thought of it actually.
But Lands’ End has set up an INCREDIBLE shopping experience. The variety of sizes, styles and coverage options, along with the sizing chart, makes it possible to find an appropriate suit that actually fits. And the virtual model feature helped me picture my body type in the different suit styles.
The best part of the shopping experience came when I phoned Lands’ End to ask them some questions about what size I should choose, what colors would go best together, etc.
The customer service women who helped me were incredible! Yes, I said women plural! Mary, Karla, Susan and Mary Ann, to be exact.
Why so many? Well – I had a lot of questions!
When I first spoke to Karla, she was so intent on helping me choose the best suit for my body type that she even went to ask her coworker Mary’s opinion. Both of these ladies were so fun and fabulous, I couldn’t have asked for better shopping mates!
Later, I had a couple other questions and when I called back (yes, I called two more times!) I got some more fantastic service from Susan and Mary Ann. These ladies were patient, well informed and most importantly fun! I mean come on – this is shopping ladies. It should be fun!
When the suits arrived, I could see why you all raved about Lands’ End bathing suits. They are made of such high quality fabric and crafted so well. Just beautiful.

I agree that Lands End suits are the best. I ordered three last month with the intent of keeping just one. After they arrived, I tried on all three and chose the one I wanted to keep. I then easily returned the other two at my local Sears store. A week later, Lands End called to confirm that they received my returned suits and to see if I needed any help picking anything else up. They also told me that I could send my returns directly to Lands End free of charge in the future if I can’t get to Sears. Great customer service!

I am very impressed with how many modest bathing suits they carry. I wish I had realized this when I was helping my teen daughter shop. I still don’t want my girls wearing bikinis. They get one-pieces, but of course they want some style too. I have got them wearing board shorts with their one-pieces to jazz them up a bit.

Wow, look at all the entries! I swear by Lands End and the quality of everything they make. I still have the Leather Hiking boots I bought a decade ago that has taken me on many hikes! Thier water proofing spray have kept them in almost new condition all this time! Their mens shirts are the BEST! I have never bought a swimsuit, though! I love Lands End swimsuits I had one a few years ago and I haven’t been in a swimsuit as much since. I love how you can mix and match and but different sizes in top and bottom so that they actually fit! Plus if you have problem areas you want to cover you can get a skirt bottom and a tank top top and cover everything without looking like a prudey grandma!

When I think of Lands End I think of my mother handing me the catalog and telling me to pick the clothes I liked. my first backpack for kidergarten was from lands end and I still have it. it’s still in very good condition. so lands end means quality to mean something thats going to last. it also mean’s self confidence. my Sr. year of High School me and my bestfriend went to myrtle beach SC and she was a lot skinner than me. I was worried to have to wear a bathing suit next to her because bathing suits dont hide much. My mom came to the rescue with the lands end catalog in her hand. she showed me a pink and purple suit that had the ability to tuck in my tummy. I’m 26 now and when I look back at the photos I see a confident young lady stareing back at me in her bathing suit that made her feel like a million bucks. I would love to win another lands end bathing suit and create more wonderful memories. and I would like to say thank you and keep up the great work.

Lands End is the best!
I would love to have a new swimsuit. I never go to the pool because I can’t afford to get a new one. I bet my girls would like me to get a new swimsuit so they can go to the pool.

Um, should I admit that I have exactly ONE bathing suit? BUT-it is a Land’s End. I got it years ago, but I love the quality you get from LE. Sadly, LE suits are not in the budget anymore, so to win one would be *amazing*! Thanks for doing this!!

oh i love lands end swimsuits! i have 2 and have worn them both out and am going to have to order a new one soon. i love that you can order the tops and bottoms seperately and they really do last quite a while. i’ve had one for 3 years and the other for 4 years.
