I have an old old old old old Kodak EasyShare. The model number no longer shows up on searches anymore when I’ve tried to replace parts. It no longer holds a charge beyond 3-4 photos. This Kodak EasyShare M893 IS digital camera has all the features that I am looking for in an easy to use digital camera that will allow us to take the best possible images of our 3 young children, our friends and family and our 2 dogs. I love all the specs on the camera too! Our digital camera is very outdated and half the time the camera battery will not hold a charge anymore so we have lost many of our fondest candid moments because our camera malfunctioned. I need a little purse camera so bad. I keep missing all the great shots of our little gal ’cause I don’t want to lug hubby’s big camera around. Mama needs this! 🙂 Crossing my fingers.
While fishing my husband put my sony digital camera into his shirt pocket, he bent over to wash his hands in the lake after catching a fish. PLOP went my camera. I quickly got it out, took out the memory card, took out the batteries and laid it on a log to dry in the sun.
To my surprise it worked! I was happy as it was a great camera. Fast forward a few months later we are on vacation at the ocean, when once again he has it in his pocket (coat pocket this time) and again PLOP right on the shore line. This time it did not live, digital cameras do not like sea salt and sand. And yes, I had a few choice words. We replaced it with a Panasonic, this has to be the worst digital camera I have used in my life. I hate it. If it is not taking blurry pictures it is making everyone a reddish color (I even had a camera shop set the settings as I thought I did something wrong). We got my daughter a cheaper Kodak for Christmas 2 years ago, hers is still going strong and takes awesome pictures, close up and the zoom is great. I would love to own this Kodak M893 IS, bonus is I already have a photo dock/printer from my daughters camera!

A “family on the go” is an excellent description of my family. Between work, two teenaged daughters, the family karate school, and all of the usual time-consuming suspects (i.e., errands, housekeeping, etc.), we stay happily busy. Boy do I need a new one my old one takes forever to save the pic and allow you to take another one even after a new battery.
