Hello I am writing to nominate my mother Corinthia Sampson for this mother’s day prize. My mother went through a lot of pain throughout her life and despite it all she managed to raise me and my younger brother alone successfully as well as help others raise their children. I look at my mother as a “superwoman” because many people call her “mother” she has been a counselor, mother, confidont, sister and friend for many that had nobody at some point and time. She is overall a giving person and never looks for anything in return. I just want my mom to take a break at some point and time but she always is somewhere aiding to need of others and sometimes never to herself. I love my moms spirit and I cherish her God given abilities. I thank God daily for such a peaceful and loving mother. I wouldn’t change anything about her.

Ohhhh, I was totally going to enter this one for a girlfriend of mine who loves purses but, then I saw the purse(I usually could care less about them) and then I saw the winning one would be blue and I got so happy!
I am one of those moms who used to have tons of different purses, all the latest and greatest styles and had one to match almost every outfit or at least the shoes! I laugh now as I see I still have many purses(and use them) from high school (20 years ago) and various freebie purses and a couple purses i received for a gift. I don’t think I have purchased or been gifted a new purse in at least 5 years. Yes, I totally missed the whole ‘big bag’ purse styles and many of my purses are either ripped, faded, missing zippers, or match outfits I haven’t been able to fit into since 2001.
I am totally ok with my purse selections as they serve their purpose for a stay at home mother of 4 children however, I think my girlfriends would secretly delight in seeing me with a purse that one actually matched something and two, was in style 🙂
And I wear LOTS of blue!

I want to tell the world how wonderful my mother-in-law is, after her courageous battle with tonsil cancer she went over and beyond the call of mother in law duty to help take care of me while I battle breast cancer. She had us stay with her for 3 months after my bilateral mastectomy and for my first few treatments of my 6 month chemo. She bathed me, did my laundry, made me food, emptied my drains, and helped me to pay my bills, and took me to all my doctor appointments. She is there by my side through all my surgeries holding my hand telling me everything is going to be alright. I could NOT have asked for a better mother in law, cancer has brought us so close. And to top it off we share the same birthday, I really hope you pick me, she deserves the best recognition in the world

Wow… what a beautiful bag this is. I’d love to be able to carry this on my arm, or maybe give it to my Mom so she can have that pleasure. : ) She deserves it for raising 5 kids without killing us. Especially since Dad was in the military and did two one year tours away and two 6 month tours away and she coped with all of us kids; and we never failed to have a medical emergency sometime during Dad’s absence – broken legs and arms, ruptured ear drums, german measles, 5 kids with chicken pocks we did it all while Dad was gone. She was 8 months pregnant with my younger sister when my Dad left on one of his one year tours away, so Dad didn’t even see my little sister for the first time until she was 11 months old. LOL
this purse is beautiful and would be a perfect addition to my spring wardrobe 🙂 thanks!
