Do You Suffer From Headaches? (Giveaway)

I get headaches.  They’re bad.  They’re the ones that put me upstairs in my bedroom in the dark not wanting to eat or even drink anything.  And they can last for days.  Given that history, when I was offered the opportunity to try Migralex headache relief, I jumped on it.

Migralex contains 500 mg of aspirin (so warnings regarding Reyes’ Syndrome are in effect for this product) that is buffered with 75 mg of magnesium oxide.  This helps to ensure that it doesn’t irritate your stomach, and the directions don’t require that you take it with food – something that is often an issue when you have a severe stomach as food just doesn’t sound good at all.  \

The magnesium was a surprise ingredient for me. But as I looked into it, I found study after study showing that magnesium can ease headaches and that many headaches can actually be caused by low levels of magnesium.

The combination of ingredients is designed to attack headaches in five ways.  Migralex reduces inflammation and relieves pain;  inhibits the clumping of platelets; relaxes blood vessels, and normalizes dozens of chemical reactions that help ward off headaches.

So what happened when I took it?  I took it before my headache got really bad, as directed on the bottle.  The two caplets were small enough that I could easily swallow them, and my headache never got worse.  Within a little over an hour, I was feeling significantly better and went to bed.

By the time I woke up, my headache was gone, and I had slept through the night – something that I don’t often do when I’m suffering from headaches.  My head was a little fuzzy the next morning but that could also be due to the fact that I actually slept soundly and my body simply isn’t used to that.

Because there is no caffeine in Migralex, the likelihood of a rebound headache is minimized and there is no withdrawal symptoms when you stop taking it. I haven’t had another headache – yet – which seems to bear this out.  And since it has no caffeine, I don’t have to worry about staying up all night if I’m taking it in the afternoon and at night, which is when my headaches tend to develop.

Migralex was developed by Dr. Alexander Mauskop, MD, a neurologist at the New York Headache Center.  It is the first new headache medicine introduced in the past 17 years and is designed to treat severe headaches.  It is patented and clinically proven to be effective for tension headaches, menstrual headaches, sinus headaches, exertion headaches, stress headaches, and neck strain headaches.

Migralex is available without a prescription from the Migralex website and costs $39.95 plus $6.95 shipping and handling for a bottle of twenty capsules.  Not sure it will work for you?  It’s worth a try, as it has a 60 day money back guarantee.
