Jennifer here to share with you about an amazing giveaway from Disney! We were not compensated to write this but provided copies to give away to you!
One of my most favorite Disney movies is Lilo & Stitch, so when we were contacted and asked if we wanted to do a giveaway, we said YES! Disney just released 3 new movie collections just in time for the summer.

The fun begins with “The Emperor’s New Groove,†featuring an all-star cast and Academy Award®-nominated music by Sting (Best Music, Original Song, Sting, 2000). When the young and spoiled Emperor Kuzco (voice of David Spade) is transformed into a llama by his sinister advisor Yzma (voice of Eartha Kitt) and her henchman Kronk (voice of Patrick Warburton), it takes a thoughtful peasant named Pasha (voice of John Goodman) to restore the kingdom and show Kuzco just how much fun it is to be true to yourself.
Then audiences can continue the fun with “Kronk’s New Groove.†The outrageous sequel stars Yzma’s hilarious henchman Kronk in a riotous adventure that’s filled with hysterical mayhem and mishaps. Kronk cooks up a get-rich quick scheme to impress his Dad. But when things go wrong, Kronk kicks into comical high gear and discovers that the true riches in life are his friends and being “true to your groove.â€

Available June 11, 2013 for the first time on Blu-ray with perfect picture and sound, the “Lilo & Stitchâ€Â and “Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has A Glitchâ€Â movies are hours of fantastic fun in one incredible collection! The 3-disc Blu-ray Combo Pack includes both feature films on one Blu-ray disc plus each film on individual DVDs.
“Lilo and Stitch†is the story of Lilo, a lonely little girl, and Stitch the mischievous little creature from outer space. When Stitch crash-lands in Hawaii, Lilo adopts him as her pet, but he soon turns her world upside down. Stitch takes Hawaii by storm, wreaking havoc and hanging ten while he evades the alien bounty hunters who are after him, and also learning about loyalty and friendship. Featuring six original Elvis Presley songs, “Lilo and Stitch†is fun for the entire family.
The laughter continues in the hysterical sequel “Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch.†As Stitch  settles into life with his human family it appears his molecular makeup is out of whack and his friendship with Lilo is threatened as a result. Lilo and her friends must find a way to restore his “goodness†level before he ruins everything, including Lilo’s big hula competition – the same competition her mother won years before.
Discover that “ohana†means family, and celebrate the unbreakable bonds of friendship like never before with these two unforgettable movies on Disney Blu-ray for the first time!

We have no problem with that. The girls are real talkers.
WE talk about things they like to talk about.
No cell phone rule
My youngest is 3 but my older two have always talked at dinner time, we started this when they were very young, like Head Start- Kindergarten age. It’s important to start young so they don’t think it’s weird or feel out of place. It’s important to be involved in your children’s lives, studies have shown that children raised in this environment have a more successful school time and adult life.
The question should be, how do I get my son to stop talking and eat at dinner time? Lol, all he does is talk. 🙂 But some advice would be, no TVs on, and no cell phone at the dinner table.
The harder thing would be getting my kid NOT to talk to me at dinner time 🙂 Luckily, we have no trouble communicating.
We made it a habit from the time they were very little!
We don’t have issues getting them to talk about things, usually one of them will just start talking about something and the others will chime in about the topic.
They love to talk, I have no problems.
I ask her something fun she did that day 🙂
I make sure there’s nothing else to do 🙂
Not talking has never been an issue!
My 5 year old never stops talking.
i ask questions about his school day
I don’t have kids..sorry
We ask her about what she did that day
No TV, that always works! 🙂
Sometimes we can’t get our teen to talk but if we bring up a topic, he’ll join in.
I tell them about my day and ask specific questions about theirs. Also we have an electronics ban at the dinner table. You have to put all video games, phones and kindles away before coming to eat.
We don’t allow electronics at the dinner table so that helps with the conversation. We usually ask them to share their favorite and worst parts of the day. That’s usually enough to get the conversation started.
my grandkids are 5, 4 and 10 months so there is no problem at this point getting them to talk. Its more to get them to stop talking long enough to eat.
it’s our routine and we don’t have the tv or phones on while we eat
By involving everyone in the conversation and being interested.
I just start a conversation.
I don’t have kids but my fiance and I talk all through dinner. I have to turn the TV off since I usually have it on when I cook and ask about his day at work and what he is working on. Then I tell him about my day. We talk about plans for the upcoming days and weekend.
He’s too young to talk yet!
We keep the TV off, for one thing.
Sometimes it’s like pulling teeth, but I usually start by asking if they had a good day, followed by what they had for lunch. Once they get started it’s usually ok!
I Ask them what they learned in school that day and what they did on the bus
what happened today, what movie should we see next
not a problem as long as we sit down together. They are still at an eager to talk age!
There’s no problems getting out little ones to talk right now! 🙂
no tv or toys at the table and we always sit down together at a table
xo
I have a standard set of questions I ask that usually gets the conversation going.
We ask about their day.
To get my son to talk to us at dinner time we always go around the dinner table every night and ask each person his/her Pit & Peak. Which means what was the worse thing and then the best thing that happened to you today. It’s a fun game. Thank-you for a great giveway 🙂
We like to talk about our best parts of the day.
We ask them about their day or even random questions like, what’s your favorite superhero and why?
We start by doing a round robin of each person telling each other about their day…..tons of conversations go from there
We’ve never had trouble getting them to talk…its harder to get them to talk one at a time! Usually we go around the table and ask everyone how their day was.
I get my kids to talk to me by asking them questions. They are good talkers.
I don’t have kids yet…
I ask my son specific questions about his day!
I ask questions that can’t be answered yes or no
We start by asking them what the best part of their day was and that usually opens up more conversation about their day.
My kids are 6 and 4 so it is not hard to get them to talk, they talk all day 🙂
We talk about our highs and lows of the day.
We talk about everything. I love taking them one on one while I run errands and talk with them while we are both trapped in the car. Lol
The adults star talking about their day first to easy up kids. The kids then start joining the conversation.
ask them whatone thing did you learn today
Saying grace always brings up what they did that day.
My kids always like to share their day. All you have to do is ask one simple question and their off!
We talk about what she ate at lunch at school.
by turning everything off,,phones,tv ,video games
We just visit and ask questions about her day.
Never had troubles with that!
First we talk about general things then eventually will touch on the subject that needs talked about.
Take away all distractions, i.e, phones, TV, computers. It’s family time!
I always start with things I know will get them talking
by asking about their day and not having the tv on
We have to actually tell our kids to stop talking and eat lol, especially our 8yr old. They haven’t yet reached the age when they don’t want to tell their parents anything 🙂
you talk about topics they are interested in.
open ended questions and not just “how was your day?”
We ask her about her day. Then when she says something like, I went to the park, we ask what did you do at the park. Essentially we just keep asking questions and questions until the conversation is going well.
I get them to tell their daddy what they have been doing during the day.
start a conversation. make it a daily thing so that it will become the norm
They are very vocal and open which is great.
i have her tell me who got into trouble & then she talks non stop.
we just talk…ask them questions that i feel are important.
