I don’t know why it just hit me, but when I read your Easter post, I thought “I’m so glad Jesus did what He said He was gonna do, even though no one wanted Him to do it.”
I don’t think any of His followers thought He was being literal. What a beautiful example of agape love, doing what’s best for the ones you love, even if it’s not what they want.
Puts a new song in my heart :).
