One of my favorite childhood games has been redesigned for an even sweeter experience. The best part is that I can share the fun with my own children.
Hasbro has released an updated board design for Candy Land with new enchanted lands filled with sweet surprises around every corner.
The three dimensional board design is filled with adventure:
- Create delicious treats at the Cupcake Commons to deliver along the way.
- Participate in a thrilling snowboard race down the Ice Cream Slopes with the Duke of Swirl
- Take a relaxing train ride through Gummy Hills
- Climb to the top of Chocolate Mountain
- Make friends with Gramma Gooey, Lord Licorice, Princess Frostine and Princess Lolly of Lollypop Woods throughout your adventure
- Race to meet King Kandy at the grand entrance to the Candy Castle
As always, it was a treat playing Candy Land with my kids. We had a blast. While I am still partial to the Candy Land from my childhood, I can tell that my kids appreciated the bright colors and fun additions placed throughout the board.
We also snuck in some ice cream after our Candy Land tournament. I think it is nearly impossible to play that game without having a craving for something sweet.

My sweets go according to season – currently candy corn and candy pumpkins but at Easter I love the Cadbury Creme Eggs!
I subscribe to the newsletter, and my favorite treat is Hershey’s Kisses, which I’ve loved since I was a child, or those tiny (Halloween-sized) Snicker bars!
I can go quite overboard with Macaroons
I love chocolate… you name it – chocolate with caramel, marshmallows, pretzels, chips – as long as it has chocolate, I’ll probably love it!
I love Snickers.

What we all really love is Hot Tamales. Yum! I’ve loved Candy Land since I was a kid, and my own children wanted to play all the time. The game is looking a little bit ratty now, though, from all of the loving.
That looks like fun. My kids have been begging for a CandyLand game!

M&Ms are always a favorite around our house …especially the grandchildren. We would certainly enjoy them while playing Candyland!

My favorite treat is brownie mix….I mix the powder with a little oil & eat it just like that. I’m sure it’s horrible for me, but everyone loves to like the spoon after brownies are mixed up, I’m just doing the same thing without the risk of food poisoning from raw eggs 🙂
My kids love Candy Land and pretty much all board games! My favorite treat is M&M’s and I am loving the new pretzel M&M’s!
Food wise it would be coconut Easter eggs.
But my real favorite treat is my two little grandbabies. They are my delight and I love them so much. I get to do things right that I didn’t do right with my kids. I have learned to play with them. I didn’t know I was supposed to when I raised mine-how stupid I was. I was never taught that and I wish I had known.

I LOVED CandyLand as a kid and we were so happy to land on any candy, even when it would set you back a little; part of the fun of the game. My “favorite” candy is…actually, I have a REAL sweet tooth, so I like tons of candy, but I really enjoy licorice and sour sticks….so bad for you, but….tasty!
So true to play with your kids, last night, I played GUESS WHO with my two older ones before bed and they were SO happy to play with me, of course, they convinced me to play five games with each of them separately!!!!
I have a 5-y-o daughter who loves to play Candy Land! Our game is the older one, but I’m sure she doesn’t mind. She actually wanted to play Candy Land at her birthday party!
