Artistry Skin Care Review and Giveaway

My skin has been really giving me fits lately. It used to be soft and very youthful looking, but just in the last few months, it has taken on a dry tone and I am having a really difficult time keeping it refreshed and hydrated — no matter how much water I drink or how many different creams and lotions I smear on. Nothing has worked — up until now.

I was happy to try out the Artistry line of beauty products from Amway. One because I’ve always been curious about the Amway products ( I heard good things about them from some friends), and two — because I was desperate to try anything to see if I could get my skin back to its youthful looking appearance.

So far, I have noticed a very big difference in my skin. It no longer feels like sandpaper! I’ve been using the products for almost two weeks and the splotchiness on my cheeks has diminished and all the dry skin is now soft and supple once again.

I think the thing that I love most about the Artistry skin care line is that I can wash my face twice daily with it and it does not dry my skin out like other skin care lines that claim to make your skin feel softer or more youthful looking.

    I’ve always had very good skin. I attribute it to wearing only mascara and blush (and a few other little tricks). I’ve never worn foundation or powder. Use alcohol pads on your cell phone (where it touches your face) each evening. Also, I wash my face each night and apply moisturizer. And obviously, wear high SPF sunscreen and don’t smoke.

    I have struggled with skin issues all my life- it hasn’t been a pleasant journey. However, I’ve learned several tips throughout the years. What I’ve learned works best for me is to use a gentle cleanser day and night, moisturize every time I wash my face, and take fish oil supplements!     This product would be for my oldest daughter =) She is only 14 and is so obsessed with having the clearest / cleanest / softest face. At 14, she exfoliates, uses egg wash, soap and water at least 2 to 3 times a day and has been known to use clear gelatin . . . did I mention she is only 14 !!!

    I am the world’s worst when it comes to taking care of my skin and it’s not because I don’t want to. I do use a moisturizer when I have it. The thing is that my priority list for what my household needs tends to put “just for me” things on the bottom and finances never seem to stretch to the bottom of that list.
    I have read up on home remedy skin facials and actually grew cucumbers this past summer with the intent to use them on my eyes. (I saw it in magazines) My husband ate my beauty enhancers! before I had a chance to try it.

    When my skin acts up, gets oily or breaks out, I wash it with Baking Soda. I put a pile of it in my hands, get it wet a little, just enough to make it into a paste, then scrub my face with it. It works wonders!

  302. My favorite tip is to always use some sort of sunscreen, even in an moisturizer or foundation. My mother has had skin cancer multiple times — all on her face — leaving many deep scars. Do it while you’re young! (Wear sunscreen) and tell your kids too! It’s sooooo important, not just from a cosmetic standpoint, but it could save your life!!!

  330. Great read! I would also suggest looking into some natural skin care products. I find using all natural products is the best path to long term healthy skin. Someone once told me that if you wouldn`t put it in your mouth don`t put it on your skin. Great advice! I found a really good ebook called skinsational that you can find at http://www.skincarenutritions.com. It is full of natural skin care recipes that helped me a great deal.
