ANNOUNCEMENTS

• Please take the time to read about Victoria and her 16 month old daughter who has a terminal disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy, or SMA. It is the #1 genetic killer of infants and the medical community is very close to a cure, but they need a bill passed that’s in Congress right now.

  Victoria and her husband started an online petition and they need 100,000 signatures so that they can be taken to Congress in the Spring. It will help the SMA community show that people DO care about this bill. Please take a moment to sign the petition.

• This March, Whole Foods Market is giving you and your baby a new way to make snack time fun with their Baby’s Favorite Foods Photo Contest. Starting March 4 parents can upload a picture of their little one enjoying his or her favorite mealtime bite.

  With over $800 in cash and prizes, one lucky grand prizewinner will receive a sleek, easy-to-use Canon Powershot SD880 IS Digital Camera. Other prizes include Whole Foods Market Whole Baby Gift Baskets and Whole Foods Market gift cards. Pictures must be uploaded by March 13 and babies much be between zero and 12 months old at the time of submission. Potential winners will be announced by March 31, 2009.
