A few weeks ago, my daughter attended a music camp that was held at a college campus. I was excited to see the dorm rooms because honestly, I have never been to college or even seen a college up close and personal. My curiosity has always gotten the best of me.

When we walked in and saw that the dorm room was plain — I mean super plain — white walls that were concrete, white floors, white appliances, and a very small twin bed with a desk separating the room from the other bed that was there.

I was blown away with how uninviting it was. I thought to myself, “How in the world can I send my daughter somewhere where she is going to fill like she is inside a doctor’s office all the time?”

  33. My husband and I were at the store the other day and we were in the home section. We ran across some wall decal and he asked me why I have never decorated our home with them. To be honest I’m not sure why. I’ll have to find some cute ones. This is a great idea do decorate a dorm room. Its easy to take off so the college won’t mind if you use them.
