I’m excited to introduce three sections of our blog where we PROMOTE YOU!
Our mission here at 5 Minutes for Mom is to help moms find the best stuff out there on the Net. And since you, our readers, are busy creating great sites, we want to help spread the word.
So we have created three sections where we feature Mom-Owned Stores, Mom-Run Websites and Blogs.
It’s FREE – we just ask that you provide a link back to either “5 Minutes for Mom” or one of our stores. For blogs, the link can be a static blogroll link or a button on your sidebar. For websites and stores, we will work out an appropriate location once you contact us.
You can read more about it below, and then just fill out this short comment form to let us know you’re interested. We’ll email you the details. (We’ll always reply within a day or two. If you don’t hear from us, send another message in case the spam filters caught our email to you.)You can find these three sections in the far right column under the ‘Start Here’ heading.
Visit Our Reader’s Blogs will list all your wonderful blogs.
Browse Mom-Run Websites includes content sites, affiliate shopping sites and websites for direct sales consultants and independent sales reps.
Shop at Mom-Owned Stores features Internet stores run by Moms.
It is free to have your site listed in these sections, although we do appreciate it if join our newsletter and provide a link to either ‘5 Minutes for Mom’ or one of our stores. When we arrange your listing we can work out an appropriate location on your site for the link. (We ask that the links are not on a links page.)
We also have a Shopping Directory where we list Mom-Owned Stores and major retail stores. We will sometimes also list Mom-Run Affiliate Sites and Shopping Consultants (but we will only be able to list one per company). To be listed in this Shopping Directory, we do ask for a couple of other links. We will make arrangements for links when we set up your listing.
If you would like your site listed in any of these feature listings or directories, simply fill out the comment form below and we’ll arrange it.
On the pages listing the sites, for example, Our Reader’s Christian Mom Blogs we include for each site a:
-
Hyperlinked photo
This could be a picture of anything… you or anything else. It is something to catch people’s attention and get them to click on your blog. -
Site title
The site name is in a pink heading. -
Link with custom anchor text
This type of link is very powerful because it is in the middle of a paragraph that has your keywords on either side of it. Also, it has natural sounding anchor text, which includes your keywords, and is different than just your site name. -
A link to a Full Page Interview or Description of your site
For your blog, you can answer some “Interview” questions. And for websites and stores, you can write a full page description of your site in the style of an “Inside Scoop Editorial“. These pages can include photos and links to your whatever pages of your site you wish. This is a great chance to link to several internal pages of your website.
Please feel free to pass on the word to all the moms you know who would like extra promotion for their website or blog.

Hi, I’m interested to have my blog listed in your website. 🙂 I think I already sent you guys a message. I forgot where I saw like a contact form where I wrote a short description of my blog and other details. I think I might have clicked the Mom-Run Website. I didn’t get a reply so I’m writing here. 🙂
Our blog (my husband and I) is about our experiences as soon to be parents. We talk about dealing with pregnancy and all the new things we’re experiencing because of this new joy in our lives. 🙂 We gave it the name “The Blog Of Light Ong” because someday this site will be something that we’ll pass on to our baby ( Light Ong –> that’s the name we decided to give him/her).

I would love to have my blog added to your list. I have a company and blog sort of together. My blog really started when my husband lost his job 1 year ago and I found myself not seeing any blessings in my life. So I started a new segment of 365 days of Thankfulness and I find one thing each day to post about that I am thankful for. I will say that doing this has really changed my heart. I started Sweet Lily Tutus a couple of months ago as well.
Thanks!

Hi,
I have a personal blog, started just a few months ago out of the hell that is hitting middle-age with a younger husband and a 7 year old son … I’m fighting the tide that is pulling me toward my 50th birthday as hard as I can. Will I win? Let’s find out …
Before I started changing diapers, I was a romance novelist. Before that, I was a marketing/pr chick .. .and before that, I was partying too much to record memories. I love blogging because it is a fantastic way to get back into daily writing without having to promise anyone that I’ll write and without having an editor in a different time zone managing my edits.
I’d love to be listed in your directory … and I’d especially love to be listed in your humor section but I’ll let you make the choice once you’ve seen the blog. You might find me not so funny … it’s happened before, I assure you.
Thanks in advance! I love the site!

Okay, I SO wish I was NOT following the Moxie Mom in the comment ahead of me, but, *sigh*, I’ll give it a try. My blog (bless your heart ya’ll) was mainly created for completely selfish reasons – just for me. I love to write, meet people, laugh and make others laugh, so I thought I’d carve out a tiny piece of the world wide web to talk about my students (I teach third grade), my kids (2 angels – that term is used loosely – 10 years apart), my husband (a constant source of material), and things that I think simply should be discussed (usually funny – or at least intended to be). I just decided to start a “Why Wednesdays” weekly post – of course my first one was posted today (Saturday – that’s just how I roll). 🙂 I would love to get more traffic to my blog, simply for feedback and friendship. I love what ya’ll are doing with your site – so supportive! 🙂
Michelle McGee says
My blog Moxie Momma (Takin’ names and kickin’ sass) provides readers with a daily kick in the sass to get them going. I blog about being a mom, being a mom to a special needs child (my oldest son (age 12) has Tourette’s Syndrome), being a writer, and just being an overwhelmed person in general with a good bit of attitude and stuff to say. I have a couple of weekly “theme” columns like “Five Things Friday”- where I list five things that fit some random theme – such as “Five ironic hits of motherhood” or “five things I hate about kids’ parties”. My other column is “My Life in Letters” where I go through each letter of the alphabet and talk about one thing beginning with that letter that represents my life in some way (for example, “A” is for attitude, “B” is for books). Come on over and check it out. I’d love to share my sass with you!

Q Manor - TOT'S RADIO says
TOT’S RADIO was created for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. There are children radio
stations out on the air but they focus on playing music for children older than 7. When listening to TOT’S RADIO you can hear fun and exciting music to get your little ones moving. Toddlers and Preschoolers use music as a way of developing motor skills and encourage musical
interaction with their playmates. This music allows them to dance and learn everything from
their number colors and alphabets all while having fun.
While listening to TOT’S RADIO kids can tune in to a special segment called “TOT’S BUZZâ€
hosted by our 4 year old daughter Alyssa, being a food critic, birthday shoutâ€outs, prize
giveaways and giving movie reviews on rated G box office hits!
TOT’S RADIO interactive website, totsradio.com, offers a birthday club, story time, fun activities and upcoming event page. There is also a lullaby page that offer soothing music to help that little one fall asleep.
What makes TOT’S RADIO different?
TOT’S RADIO offers a variety of music! We have hidden favorite songs for the parents too! Our
radio station plays educational music to help children learn their alphabets, colors and
numbers. We play the popular music that all children love; they will hear music from their
favorite artist like Laurie Berkner, Imagination Movers, Dirty Fun Sock Band, Choo Choo Soul and many more including new upcoming artists!

I recently started MOTBITS-Tidbits for mothers of twins.
MOTBITS is a blog for bits of things I have learned, experienced, enjoyed, disliked, laughed at, cried at, etc. since I became a Mother of Twins. I came up with the idea of this blog when one day my husband pointed out I like to talk a lot. Apparently there was two situations that day where a question was directed to him and I piped up, cut him off, and answered the questions with every little detail. I wondered why I do that? Because I am passionate about sharing knowledge that I have gained to help others. I do not know everything!! Everyday I wish I knew more about raising twins, but everyday I do learn more. I hope other MOTs out there will enjoy laughing, crying, loving and learning with me as I raise my twins and will contribute to my blog so all of us MOTs can learn from each other.
I will add your banner to my blog home page.
Thanks!

I would like you to include my website, which is an article based site for mothers that will eventually feature Mom-Made items for sale. Also, I am looking for guest feature articles, so if you or your readers are intersted in publishing short stories/articles on Confessions of a Mom website, let me know. Thanks so much. I would prefer to link to you within content hyperlinks if possible. This way the more guest articles submitted, the more links. Plus the content based hyperlinks are more beneficial and natural. Hi Janice and Susan
I sent an e-mail about a month ago but hadnt heard anything back, just sending another e-mail in the hopes that it reached you
I wwas very excited when I came across your website “5 minutes for moms” and would like to ask for your consideration to include my website, e-magazine and products on your site for your fabulous community.
I am a mom to two wonderful yet adventurous boys, one 2.5yrs and the other one almost 11 months old.
My website Stefstation.com is the home of “Refresh!”, the free E-magazine offering encouragement and practical solutions to moms, to help them truly enjoy this challenging yet incredibly rewarding phase of their lives.
It is also a fabulous new online resource, sharing creative ideas with moms with young children and offering simple solutions to some of the everyday baby and toddler challenges moms face.
Within the website I am excited to promote my “imagination stories”
Designed to capture the imagination of children aged 2-5 years these playful audio stories are a stimulating, participative alternative to the vast amount of passive visual stimulation in our children’s lives. Each story is between 5 and 6 minutes in length and is available as an mp3 download.
There is a demo my products page, but I would love to send you a full copy for you to review and include in your interview.
Geared at encouraging imaginative play as an important building block to early child development, these stories prompt little ones to physically act out the characters in the stories.
look forward to hearing back from you

Nothing gets Moms’ ideas flowing better than a common interest. As we raise out children in a sometimes confusing world, we need each other’s support to get us through the tough times. What Mom hasn’t relied on friends to help raise our children?
This site discusses books that deal with family life, family relationships and other subjects that start the Mom engines rolling. Often, these books are a spark to other discussions and needs, reaching onto our hearts and minds to find a common compassion with Moms throughout the world. Have fun picking out a few books, interests and catching up on what Moms are doing.
