I’ve been telling you about my recent trip to the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa in Destin, Florida. My son and I were part of a small group of mommy bloggers and their kids that were invited for a vacation experience at the resort. Everything about my stay was impressive. The beach, in my opinion, has to be one of the most beautiful I’ve seen. The white sands and bright emerald green water is a sight to behold. With so many amenities and activities, families will love vacationing at the Hilton Sandestin.
In addition to families, the Hilton Sandestin is the perfect spot for a spa getaway trip. While I was there, I was able to visit the Serenity by the Sea Spa. It’s a full-service spa, salon, and fitness center that is located right in the resort. A large variety of treatments and services are offered for both men and women. I chose a Serenity Facial for my spa experience. This 50 minute treatment is a classic European style facial that includes cleansing, gentle steam, mask, and hydration, as well as facial/neck and shoulder massage. Let me just say that it was heavenly. I’ve never felt more pampered or more relaxed.
The spa has private men’s and ladies’ facilities, which include showers, steam rooms, saunas, whirlpools, private lockers, and a comfortable lounge area where you can enjoy fresh beverages and healthy snacks. Robes and slippers are provided with your service. Me and my fellow mommy bloggers were so excited about this part of our trip. We all slipped into our thick, comfy robes and enjoyed hanging out together in the spa.
Some of the other services offered by the spa include Botanical Clay Body Mask treatments, Hot Stone Massage, Couples Massage, Pure Fiji Scalp and Hair Treatment, Gentleman’s Facial, Lash and Brow Tinting, Spa Manicures and Pedicures, The Serenity Bacial (like a facial for your back), and much more. You can schedule individual treatments or purchase package deals that include several options. Prices vary depending on the service or package that you choose. The cost for my Serenity Facial runs around $95. Package prices cost from $125 to $500. It’s definitely an indulgence but worth every penny. I left the spa feeling so relaxed and happy. I think everyone deserves to have some pampering in their life every now and then.
Spa hours vary by season. Appointments are required and you must be 16 or older to use the spa and fitness facilities.
The Serenity by the Sea Spa is just another one of the fabulous features of the Hilton Sandestin. It was one of my favorite parts by far. Overall, I couldn’t ask for a better beach vacation get-away. The accommodations were spacious and clean, the beach and pools were amazing, and their was a large variety of restaurant and food choices. Another thing that made a great impression…the resort staff. Each and every single person I encountered was friendly and helpful. One afternoon, Zachary and I went on a bike ride around the Sandestin property. Upon our return, a bellboy greeted us right at the door with ice cold bottled water in hand. Another night, we returned to our suite after dinner to find a fresh plate of cookies by our bed and ice cold milk in the fridge. And, on even another occasion, the Serenity by the Sea Spa delivered a surprise to our door. Along with information regarding my spa appointment, they sent us some candy and nuts along with bottled water and some spa product samples. It’s all these little extras that added so much to our stay. Everyone went above and beyond to make our trip special.
