Today, in the middle of our #UBP12 partying, Susan and I doubled up our party fun and hosted the Double Day Party over at Nickelodeon’s parenting site, ParentsConnect.
It was a busy week for sure — but tons of fun to party over at ParentsConnect as well.
While the message board partying has wrapped up, you can still hop over and read about our tips for 5 Family Fun Spring Activities and our “expert” Advice for Moms of Twins.
And a huge thanks to Nickelodeon and ParentsConnect for asking us to host — it was an honor and a blast!
5 Family Fun Spring Activities from 5 Minutes for Mom
Spring has sprung and it’s time to make the most of it! We checked in with twin mom bloggers Janice and Susan from 5 Minutes for Mom to get their tips for finding the fun with your family this spring:
- Plan a scavenger hunt! Springtime is perfect for getting kids outside and going for walks. To get them really excited, try coming up with scavenger hunts; for example, find five different kinds of blossoms and take pictures with your phone.
- Have a bike “tune-up.” Spring is the season to pull out your bikes and/or buy new ones. Have fun “tuning up” their old bikes or go bike shopping and then go on a family ride.
