Soccer, Softball, Volleyball, Baseball, Swimming… the list for extracurricular sports activities can go on and on. And many of these activities require a good amount of travel!

Planning these trips, including transportation and lodging for these large groups can cause a lot of headaches and stress, and all you really want to do is relax, enjoy your time, and play hard, all while having fun.

But we have some great news — Hilton Family e-Events is trying to make these trips a lot easier for the parents to plan! With Hilton Family e-Events, you can book a group of 5-25 rooms online! It’s perfect for sports team travel!

Hilton Family e-Events offers:

  • 24/7 online access, no negotiation, no RFP, no waiting, immediate confirmation
  • Online contract
  • Access to over 2,500 Hilton Family hotels (variety of brands, price points and amenities)

Talk about convenient!

It’s not only great for sports events, you can use it for just about any family function! You can even book meeting rooms, guest rooms for business or social events, family reunions, weddings and much more! You’ll receive immediate confirmation of your booking, and 24/7 access to manage your reservation details!

It all sounds wonderful right? Well it gets better…

We get to offer one lucky parent the chance to try out e-Events for free — a prize valued up $3000!

Here’s what you can win, courtesy of the Hilton:

A room block consists of five to 25 reserved rooms a parent can block off for his/her child and their teammates while traveling with their sports team. Normally, guests then use their own credit card to pay for their specific room.

However, our lucky winner and his/her fellow guests will receive a complimentary room block (up to $3000 in value!) courtesy of Hilton e-Events.

To qualify/claim prize the winner must:

  • Book his/her guest room through e-Events online planning tool.
  • Book his/her guest rooms in a Hilton Family market at a participating Hilton Family property*
  • Use the guest room blocks for travel with their child’s sports team (and share with us the name of tournament/sports event his/her child will be playing in)

Hilton will compensate the winner for a guest room block up to and including $3000 in value (average price of a room block).

To enter, simply leave a comment here at this post.

This would be awesome! I’m a teacher, so I generally have a more flexible schedule during the summer than my working parents. As a result, I’m the one who usually ends up toting my sister and her friends to softball tournaments in the summer. I’d love to be able to win this!

Every parent who works with their kids in sports activities, coaching or watching and cheering, should be aware of the code of ethics for sports parents. The following is a good example and one that you can copy and hand-out to other parents.

Wow!!! This would be fantastic to offer our team! My oldest daughter is on a traveling soccer team and it’s often quite a hardship to stay overnight, but driving 4 -6 hours home isn’t an option either! Especially with 2 day tournaments!
