Taking a Personalized Book to a Whole New Level

The First Adventures of Incredible You is unique on many levels. The colors and drawings are so bright and vivid, and they showcase a story that is sweet and poignant. The personalization truly goes a step further, allowing parents to answer fifteen questions and include details about the name of the child’s hometown zoo, a favorite dish made by a favorite person, the sports team for which they will cheer and more.

The book was written in order to be equally applicable to children born into a family or who have joined by adoption. I think that this would be a wonderful welcome gift for a new baby or for an older adopted child (or for the parent), as a reminder of the sweet promise of everything that a family will do together.

customforkids.jpg

This seems like one of those books that might be geared a bit more to parents than children. Children will love seeing their name and seeing the special details included, but as I said earlier, I think that as a parent of a newborn, or for a baby’s first Christmas, I would have been so touched to imagine what the future holds for the new addition to our family.

One lucky reader will win a book (for yourself, or start gearing up for Christmas and order one for someone special). In order to win, please click over to the website, and tell me how you would answer personalized question 13. We will post a winner on Friday, November 2.

Have you also seen the books from Starrytime Keepsakes (www.starrytime.com)? They look SO cute and touching, and you can buy blankets too. Would be a great First Christmas gift. Looks like there are lots of awards and reviews from celebrities as well. Anyone have one?

If you guys like this book, you should check out http://www.flattenme.com. It’s less about buying for the parents and totally about buying for your child. They take your child’s photo and name and then transform him or her into a fairy, a pirate, etc. They’ve won a bunch of awards.
