This is Susan here… If you’re picturing my skinnier twin sister Janice who you may have met at several blog conferences, this is the other twin. The one who has been quietly adding a couple extra inches to her waistline over the last couple years. (And trying to drop a few before Mom 2.0 next month.) I’m thrilled to show you a clothing line that looks fabulous.
I keep talking about how I need to exercise more and lose a few (or twenty) pounds… but, it is NOT so simple.
I’m turning 42 this year and the cliche of it being harder to lose weight the older you get is proving painfully true. Bouncing back from gaining winter weight is now really hard. And the result is my “winter weight gain” keeps accumulating. I used to be able to pack on a few extra pounds in the winter and then lose it before summer, but the last few years, the “losing it” part has not happened.
So I need a little help from my clothes. Yes, I want clothes that help me LOOK SLIMMER. So I’m loving these NYDJ styles.
We may not have yet reached our weight loss goals, but we can get by with a little help from our friends at NYDJ – Not Your Daughter’s Jeans.

It is harder! I definitely learned that after I turned 35, exactly what you said, that I used to be able to lose 5 pounds by buckling down. Not so easy anymore!
