Pin It Friday – It’s NEW Media

by Susan

Digg, the ultimate social media rockstar once valued at $160 Million has been sold off for an estimated $500,000.

It’s a shocking reminder how quickly sites can rise and fall in the world of NEW media.

Personally, we were never into Digg… I guess that’s because we’re girls… which may also be why we’re so in love with Pinterest!

So while we feel badly for those who lost money or lost their jobs at Digg, we’re really happy Pinterest is here… hopefully for a long time.

We want to see your pins. Link up your favorites below.

Thumbnail Linky

Pinterest doesn’t allow Linky Tools to automatically pull the image, so to use the thumbnail linky, first download the image to your computer and then use upload from File.

Remember to tweet out and tell all your friends to get pinning and link up here. Use hashtag #PinItFriday

I was never into Digg either, but it’s interesting to see that it dropped so far. I wonder why? As you say, though, there’s always something else… and Pinterest is tons of fun! Thanks for hosting the linky. :)

Interesting info! Thanks for sharing! I wasn’t into Digg either, but I think Pinterest is going to be around for Facebook.
