Wordless Wednesday — Vancouver Snow

by Janice

worldess-wednesday dog in snow

A rare sight here in the suburbs of Vancouver, BC. My dog AJ loved the snow and, I must say, I do miss it.

Mom Bloggers (and Dad Bloggers too!) post a photo on your site, link up and find others… Wordless Wednesday is tons of fun. (And I know it says “wordless” but I just can’t bear to not write anything! If I had created it, I probably would have named it something different! LOL So feel to link up your word-full or word-less Wednesday photos!)

Leave the URL to your photo (clearly mine are never truly “wordless”) and then visit others!

Here is a fun thumbnail linky:

And here is a basic linky if you prefer your linkies the good old fashioned way!

Thanks to Uisce for creating Wordless Wednesday.

Did you know that Susan and I actually started out online with toy stores? Yes and we still have them. One of our favorite gift ideas for a child’s birthday is an educational kids rug that inspires play and learning. They are surprisingly affordable.

well that certainly isn’t something you see every day! Is it wrong that I feel a surge of glee every time I think of my homeland covered in snow?

*insert evil laugh here*

In my defense we’ve had snow here for months. And it will still be here for months.

Sigh. I miss BC.

We are back to horrible ugly rain. It was too cold, but I do miss the snow. (I know I know – I complain when it is here!)

I snickered too! lol thinking of my poor parents having to park up on Thrift to walk down to the house because of the streets being blocked off! My kids want snow, real snow, so bad. it’s been an odd winter here.

Doh! Linky hiccupped and added mine twice. Sorry about that.

Gorgeous photo! I wish we had snow – it’s quite ridiculous how much rain we have been getting in JANUARY.

I don’t miss the snow at all. It’s here for months during the winter! Blech

What a great shot! You definitely have a lot more snow than we do here in Toronto, but I’m not complaining (lol)!-)

We get a lot of snow usually – but not so far this winter! Our puppy loves the snow too though – she has an absolute blast running around and playing in it. :)

We could always send you some of ours… (Southern Maine) It’s not a lot, but I’m sure the people here would be more than willing to part with it!! LOL
Happy Wednesday!

Great photo of AJ enjoying the snow. My 4 year old son is so upset that we have hardly had any snow this winter. I know it is still early and not holding my breath.

I hope we get a bit of snow down here in Atlanta…chances are rather slim, though!

Looks so pretty.

We haven’t gotten much snow this year. I am really glad…last year we got pounded and I needed a break.

We have barely seen the white stuff down here in Maryland. Weird winter. Wondering if we’re going to get a freak storm next month like we did on Val Day one year.

Gah..I miss the snow. We’ve only had one real good snow fall in St. Louis. I’m ready for more!

I have my nose stuck in the window mirror hoping that this snow will last. It hasn’t been snowing here this entire year at all!

It’s starting to do so now, but very weakly. I envy you.

It seems like the snow came and left so quickly! I wish I could have had a little more time to enjoy it with the kids, but I’m also alright with not having to worry about the roads (and the drivers)!
