Win a Carribean Cruise OR $1000 Dollars – It is YOUR choice!

Metropolitanmama.netRemember this contest we told you about where you could win a Caribbean Cruise?!?

If you missed that post, here is a quick recap – one of our favorite bloggers, Metropolitan Mama, is teaming up with one of our favorite companies, Protect-A-Bed, (we did a review for them last October) to run a thrilling contest called “Sail Away to a Good Night’s Sleep” where they are giving away an all-expenses-paid CRUISE for two to the Caribbean (airfare included!!!)

As well, there are weekly draws for Protect-A-Bed products and monthly draws for $200.00 gift certificates to Outback Steakhouses.

YES – I know! It is ridiculously cool!

BUT – now Metropolitan Mama has made it even better! For those of you who can’t leave the kids and skip town for a cruise, you can have your choice of EITHER the cruise or one thousand dollars! So, a free trip or $1,000 cash. Sounds like a pretty fantastic choice.

If you didn’t enter yet because you decided a cruise wasn’t right for you, click over and enter now! Because what family doesn’t need an extra $1000???

AND you can increase your chances of winning too – click over to find out how you can have multiple entries.

Don’t forget, when you fill out your entry form let Stephanie know 5 Minutes for Mom sent you. :)

Click on over and enter to win!!!

PS – I am curious – what would you take? The money or the cruise???

As good as the money sounds…I’d take the cruise. Five years from now I might not remember where the money was spent but…I would always remember the cruise!!

My husband and I could so use the trip!! We haven’t even had a weekend vacation with out kids in 3 years!!! Sing me up!! Thanks for all of the great offers on your website.

  3. Feiloaki says

The trip really sounds nice, but we can sure use the money for a road trip so we can show our son this beautiful country we live in. Thanks!!!

I am about to start potty training my 2 year old daughter and imagine these might really protect our mattress!! I joked in my post that I wonder if they make car seat protectors after my daughter was vomitting for 9 hours on our recent car trip home!!

  5. Bob says

I think i would take the money, because money is what everyone needs right now. Vacations come later! (even though i would love one)

  6. Tonya Keener says

I would take the cruise. I went on a cruise for my Senior Trip after graduating High School but I was drunk the whole time and have no memory of it ,even the day I got home. Now with almost 12 years sobriety I would take my 20 year old daughter on the cruise with me and we would cherish every second and remember it
When my daughter was five my parents took her from me due to my alcoholism. I moved to florida April 4 2007, the day my daughter turned 19, with 10 1/2 years sobriety, my car payed off and money saved for the move after years of working two and three jobs.
mothers day 2008 I saw her get her associates degree with 3.8 GPA. Even though she lives five minutes from me, she sent me a card saying thanks for being at my college graduation, standing beside me and cheering me on

  7. Beverly says

I have never been on a cruise, but I would have to pick the money. I want a vacation, but I need to pay down some debt.

  8. says

lets see, I would love to have a cruise, but with 4 little ones and a hubby that would rather go to Alaska, I would have to take the $$$ honey. Plus we are trying to save money for a down payment on our first house and that would be a great addition. Thank you for letting us know about this contest.

  9. Rosemary Graham says

I would love to go on a cruise. I will be getting married next year and that would be the perfect honeymoon for us. Especially since it is affordable (FREE)!

  10. says

    Definately the cruise!

It’s the perfect vacation. You don’t drive, cook, or make beds. You can shop and eat, relax or not, dance, sing karaoke, eat, sightsee, eat…

    Love me some cruisin’

  11. Faye says

I would take the money. The last time my hubby and I went on a cruise, the ship caught on fire and I said I would never get on one again.
I lost my hubby last year, and I could use money to help pay bills.

  12. Becky Grayson says

I do water aerobics three times a week and I would love a new suit from Lands End.

    Thanks for the contest!

  13. Becky Grayson says

Whoops! I would take the money. Sorry about the above comment. It’s late and I’m sleepless in Texas.

  14. Callista Meyer says

definatly the money…i would catch up on bills instead of going paycheck to paycheck like we have been!

  15. says

With the price of gas and the grocery prices going up and the debt that I am already in ————-
GIVE ME THE MONEY!!! But, boy could I use a vacation! Can you tell??

  16. Susan Snyder says

    Oh geez………it’s really tough… i can’t even answer right now….. $$ or cruise.. i need both!

  17. Demetra says

We do need furniture so the money would be great, but the cruise would provide some amazing memories that will last a lifetime. Neither of us have ever been on a cruise before!!!

  18. Renee Borders says

With 5 grandchildren I would definitely take the money. This would allow us to do many things! :)

  19. says

I have a nursing baby who I couldn’t leave, so I’d definitely take the money. I’d really like to fix up our house and make it a more comfortable, welcoming place — that would provide my whole family with happiness that would last a lot longer than a cruise!

  20. says

I would take the cruise. I’ve always wanted a second honeymoon. I would leave the kids with my parents so my husbnd and I can reconnect with some alone time.
