In the Motherhood

The second season is here – get your scripts ready!

Last year, we told you about the fabulous mom-written, online series, In the Motherhood, and how you could submit your best mom stories to be turned into hilarious webisodes starring Leah Remini and Chelsea Handler.

This year, the show is back with a second season of original mom-written scripts. And joining the cast this season, is Jenny McCarthy. She is definitely a fantastic addition.

The show cracks me up and the actors do a great job bringing to life the moms’ stories. Chelsea Handler, my favorite, is a riot – that woman consistently makes me laugh out loud.

If you want to write scripts for these fabulous actors, head over to In the Motherhood and start typing.

If you haven’t watched any of the webisodes yet, jump over and catch up on what you have been missing. All of the previous shows, as well as interviews and blogs of the characters are on the In the Motherhood site.

M80 and In the Motherhood offered us some Suave products for posting our review. But we thought it would be more fun to get them to send those products to one of you instead!

So if you want some free Suave products, leave a comment here and let us know what you think of In the Motherhood. We will announce the winner on March 18th. This contest is open to both US and Canadian shipping addresses.

That is funny! Very cool! I love what is happening on the web. I love that people can put something cool together and present it to the public, without all the redtape of TV networks, etc. I’d love some products, too!

Never heard of these series, I am discovering them now.
But I love how small kitchen tips are put into the show that intelligently. You’re watching and actually learning things.

While my kids were still sleeping this morning I sat down and watched the entire series thus far. A lot of the incidents are so hilarious. Of course they are only funny because they are happening to other people. If they were happening to me…maybe not so funny. (grin!)

in the motherhood is a fantastic new way of making a show, much better than the so called reality shows this is from actual things that have happened and true life is always better than the things that are made up. Thanks for the chance to win.

Hello, I enjoy watching Leah Remini in the “King of Queens” for many years. I even watch the reruns from time to time! I agree that Jenny McCarthy is a great addition to the show. In real life, her son is autistic and she supports the cause very well! I think the show can give my husband a different perspective on moms and children. Thanks,Cindi

  13. Kendra says

This is very comical. I love Leah Remini in her role as Carrie on “King of Queens”, and it seems as though she is going to be just as great in this film.

Janice, really enjoying the series so far, and just wanted to let you know that the Academy is now allowing online content such as a web series to win an award at the 2008 Primetime Emmys =) It’s great to see the Academy acknowledging the internet as a viable source for entertainment, and to win against a primetime television show would rock.
If you’re interested, check out http://www.emmys.tv/downloads/index.php for the rules and regulations on how to enter. I’m currently working with the Academy to help spread this message to internet filmmakers, so definitely spread the love to others!
