Awww, sweet childhood memories are flooding back into my mind! What a sweet photo. I’ve always loved making wishes on dandelions and still do! It’s great to see that little girls still make wishes…
Have a great day.

So cute! Last night, Li’l Empress was blowing these and got a bunch in her mouth. She looked a little like a cat that ate a white canary. And was so surprised that she couldn’t spit them out! It cracked us all up.

My WW is celebrating wishes for spring in a slightly different, but still very girly way: http://whitneygang.blogspot.com/2010/05/wordless-wednesday.html

Amazing shot! Did you really catch those fluffies blowing away or are they edited in? Either way, gorgeous!

Reply

54 Janice May 6, 2010 at 12:24 pm

Great question Jody.

Yes they are really the fluffies in the shot. However, I cropped the picture and so some of the top ones I cropped off – so I moved a few down so they wouldn’t be lost in the cropping. :)

How fun – I was trying to take a picture just like this last week – think I need a real camera – my iphone just can do this!!

Reply

61 Janice May 6, 2010 at 12:27 pm

Yes – I really recommend getting a digital SLR – you can get some of the older models of the Canon Rebel for around $500! (The newer models are around $900 I think. I use a Canon 50D and a 24-70mm lens.) A big investment — but it sure pays off.

I will be writing a post very soon on choosing what cameras to buy. :)
