Wordless Wednesday – So what do you think – should we get him his own set?

by Janice

When Jackson was a toddler, he was obsessed with music, especially drums. He had his own tiny set and he “played” for hours! Of course, that set was oh-so-durable and has long since disintegrated. We do plan on starting him with piano soon – although he wants to go straight to guitar! And one day, I am sure he will be asking for a drum set too. Yes – it will go in the basement play room! ;)

Due to our site crashing – the majority of your comments have been lost! :( We are so sorry and sad!!!

Thanks to Uisce for creating Wordless Wednesday.

My parents got me my guitar for my 3rd birthday and I was on my way! Let him learn the guitar if that’s what he likes! Just saying… ;)

Drums are cool too. I learned those in my teens. It’s all good! Rock on, I say!

I think it’s great that you’re willing to encourage his love of music!

I think all kids should try to play an instrument at least one time in their lives.

My parents supported me through Clarinet, Piano and the Guitar, LOL. They just made sure I had headphones for my amp by the time I got the guitar. ;-)

Yes, get him his own set. We have 3 boys still in the house and a set of drums…in the basement playroom. Suggestion, soundproof the basement ceiling because we can still hear the drums on the uppermost level of the house.

Really, look at his face. He NEEDS those drums!

Billy would love to learn the drums but they are expensive
