Remembering the Holidays with Things Remembered

Written by Stacey

ChristmasGiveawayButtons09410x134

The holidays, for me, are a great time for family traditions, thinking back on fond holiday memories, and making a few new ones. One of my favorite ways to celebrate these memories are through personalized gifts. And one of my favorite places to shop for personalized gifts is at Things Remembered!

Things Remembered logo

This holiday season Things Remembered has some amazing special holiday gifts in addition to their equally amazing line of personalized gifts. I love all of the engravable ornaments available at Things Remembered. They are a classic and special way to celebrate Baby’s First Christmas or your first Christmas as a married couple or family.

One of my favorite items available at Things Remembered right now is the Make-A-Wish® Water Globe. The water globe encases a beautiful silver heart with the message “Wishes from the Heart” and rests on an engravable silver box that plays When You Wish Upon a Star.

This beautiful musical globe is nestled into the arms of the most perfect companion — a teddy bear named Max!

Max the Bear

Max, handcrafted by the Things Remembered artisans, has soft movable arms and legs and comes dressed in his holiday best, a plaid holiday bow tie. His name is short for Maximilian, which means “greatest” and he truly is great. Here’s why…

When you purchase Max and his Make-A-Wish® Water Globe, $2 will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help make wishes come true for children with life-threatening medical conditions. And it gets better — Things Remembered guarantees a minimum donation of $250,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation this year!

I absolutely love that, while Max and the Make-A-Wish® Water Globe is a perfect gift for that special someone in your life, you are also helping make wishes come true for children. I am so excited to give this adorable bear and beautiful globe to my girls’ babysitter this year. It is a perfect way to express our love and thanks to her this Christmas.

The Make-A-Wish® Water Globe is one of eight gifts available at Things Remembered that will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Any of them would make a very special gift this holiday season for someone you love!

You can learn more about the Make-A-Wish Foundation at www.wish.org.

Soon Max will be making his way into one of your homes (or someone you love) as we are giving away one Make-A-Wish® Water Globe with Max Teddy Bear. One lucky reader will be receiving this beautiful gift with custom engraving from Things Remembered!!!

Then I think of quality! I browsed around and I would be so deeply touched and excited to win/wear around this birthstone tree pendant! http://www.thingsremembered.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/TRproduct_10001_9951_633189____4823___?occasionId=_1_~|~|~|~|~|~

Thank you for this beautiful giveaway.

I would like to nominate Angela Farooqui and her daughter Taniya. They are caring for 3 small children whose mother is hardly ever around. Taniya is 18 and a college student. The kids’ are a 4 year old boy, 3 year old girl, and a 18 month old boy. Angela is on disability and works as the apartmen t manager at her complex to get rent reduction. I know they go to food pantries quite a bit for food. Angela does not ask for alot of help because she believes there are people in the world that are worse off than her and her family. I am proud to say I know this woman because she is strong and determined.

It’s difficult to choose just one thing when they have so many beautiful ones. But I’d like a Make-A-Wish® Necklace to remind me that wishes and dreams do come true.

I would choose the ANGEL waterglobe to engrave words of thanks for the amazing friendship and support of a complete stranger last year who helped me find a diagnosis for my illness. She is so sick and will be without her family at Christmas. Neither of us can travel…but I would love to send her this gift. Nancy is truly my angel…
