Beginning on January 7, 2015 the Disneyland Resort will be host to “Frozen Fun.” The frozen-tastic event will only be available for a limited time. “Frozen Fun” will take place in Disney California Adventure in Hollywood Land.

For those of you who will be visiting the Disneyland Resort during the Christmas Holiday you can get a sneak peek of some of the “Frozen Fun” starting on December 20th.

Frozen-Fun

If your kids love the movie Frozen as much as mine do then they are going to have their socks knocked off when they visit “Frozen Fun.” It really sounds like a wintry blast of fun!

Here is what your family can experience at “Frozen Fun.”

At “Anna and Elsa’s Royal Welcome” you can meet the famous sisters of Arendelle.  As of the publishing of this article they are currently located in Fantasyland in Disneyland. Starting December 20th they will be located in Disney California Adventure inside the Disney Animation Building in Hollywood Land.

Meeting the famous sisters requires a Return Time Ticket. This process will still apply when they move to the Disney Animation Building.  A Return Time Ticket is like a virtual standby line, there is no physical stand by line.

The Return Time Tickets are only available for a limited time each day , be sure to arrive at Disney California Adventure Park at opening to get the tickets for your entire group.

You can also utilize Extra Magic Hour when it is available for Disney California Adventure Park so that you can get into the park early. Be sure to check with your Disneyland Resort Hotel for more details about Extra Magic Hour.

A valid park admission ticket is required to utilize the Return Time Ticket service  and you will need a ticket for each person in your group who wishes to get a Return Time Ticket.  Only those with a Return Time Ticket will be able to enter “Anna & Elsa’s Royal Welcome.”

Who wants to draw a snowman? While at the Disney Animation Building you can attend Animation Academy and learn to draw Olaf.

Your family will get to join the coolest party in Hollywood at the “Freeze the Night! A Family Dance Party.”  Spend the evening with your family in Hollywood Land for a family friendly dance party. The dance party will feature fun lighting effects, games, Frozen-tastic photo opportunities, snacks and warm drinks.

Moving into Stage 17 in Hollywood Land is “Olaf’s Snow Fest.” This area will be transformed into a castle courtyard similar the one in Arendelle. At “Olaf’s Snow Fest” your family can play with real snow in a winter wonderland, build snow creations and slide down a snow glide.

Music will be provided by The Frolicking Fjords and a traveling duo known as the The Tubadors will tell the tale of Arendelle. You will get the opportunity to visit Olaf for a flurry of warm hugs and a photo opportunity.

“Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post” will be fully stocked of Frozen inspired merchandise for everyone on your list.

Muppet*Vision 3D Theater has been transformed into the Crown Jewel Theater and is home to “For the First Time in Forever – A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” Ardendelle historians will retell the history of their kingdom and there will be appearances by Anna, Elsa and Kristoff.  A Return Time Ticket will also be available for this event.

Here is a map of where all of the “Frozen Fun” events will be taking place.
