Let’s Fight Against Hunger (giveaway)

Jennifer, 5 Minutes for Mom’s assistant, shares her insight into the Nestle & Walmart’s fight against hunger, in this giveaway. This post is compensated but her opinions are her own.

I hate to hear about kids, or anyone for that matter, going hungry. As much food as we have in the world, there is NO reason known to man why anyone should go hungry.

In fact, a couple of years ago, I volunteered to help with the summer lunch program that our church was putting on. I was amazed at the kids that came to get a free meal. Our church was located in an area where it was low income, so many parents left their children to fend for themselves all day. It broke my heart to know that this meal would be their only meal all day until the parents arrived home from work.

Something seriously needs to be done.
