I am bound and determined that 2013 is THE year that I finally get my overweight self into shape. There have been tons of bloggers in my past that have done that and they are so inspiring to me when I see the before and after photos. I want to reach that goal this year!
I am taking a different approach this year though. I am using the gaming systems to help me exercise and strength train. My favorite? The Nike+ Kinect Strength Training from XBox.
The Nike+ Kinect Training personalized workout program can help you “Train for Your Moment” – whether running a five minute mile, summiting your first mountain or simply rocking your skinny jeans in 2013.
I love that this program is made just for me and that I can keep track of everything I am doing, right on screen. Because it tracks my movements, it can give me instant results for what I am doing. There is no other product on the market that can do that.
Another thing that I love about the Nike+ Kinect Training are the video diaries available. You can get encouragement from athletes like Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson, NFL wide receiver DeSean Jackson, TV host Julie Alexandria and DJ Skee working out with Nike+ Kinect.
About Nike+ Kinect
Whatever your level, whatever your goal, with Nike+ Kinect Training you can now experience personal training at home. Using real time feedback and elite level coaching, Nike+ Kinect Training delivers a personalized program that evolves as you do.
Through the magic of Kinect, Nike+ Kinect Training can “see” how your body moves, assess physical strength and athleticism, identify areas for improvement, and create a personalized workout plan tailored just for you.
- Benefit from athletic expertise and inspiration from Nike coupled with powerful and precise technology from Kinect for Xbox 360
- Customized program evolves over time as your fitness level and goals change
- Work out with friends over Xbox LIVE and tap into the Nike+ community*
- Real-time feedback helps ensure that your positions and movements are correct
- Stay motivated with fitness assessments every four weeks
- Take training even further by competing in challenges, sending encouragement to friends and keeping workouts on track with a mobile companion app**
Join the movement
On the Xbox Facebook page, the “Train for Your Moment” app lets you create, track and share your fitness journey with others online. You’ll get cheers, tips and encouragement from their online community and get inspired exploring the real stories of others who are also working to achieve fitness milestones with “Nike+ Kinect Training.”
