Look and feel younger with Origins Starting Over

“Mom, how old are you?”

“Thirty” I say.

“WOW!” she says, with the “o” drawn out.

So, is that “wow” a “wow, mom, you look so young” or “wow, mom, that’s so old“? I remember when I was young and my thirty year old aunts and uncles seemed so old. Even now at thirty I just don’t feel as old as I felt my aunts and uncles were at thirty.

Even if I don’t feel like I’m getting older, I need to remember that my skin is getting older and, if I want to keep looking as young as I feel, then I need to be proactive with my skincare! A product that I recently had the opportunity to try and am falling in love with is the NEW Starting Over™ Age-erasing moisturizer from Origins.

StartingOver l

Origins is a skincare company who believes in creating high-performance natural skincare through the combination of potent plants, organic ingredients and 100% natural essential oils. They create everything from scrubs and moisturizers to makeup and fragrances. And they even have a line dedicated to men!

origins_recycleOrigins not only believes in taking care of your skin but also taking care of the planet! The Return to Origins Recycling Program, the first of it’s kind in the cosmetic industry, allows you to return your empty cosmetic tubes, bottles and jars (regardless of brand) to Origins to be recycled or used for energy recovery! Regardless of the brand!!! And, to thank you for joining in their efforts to keep cosmetic packaging out of landfills, Origins will treat you to a free sample of Origins high-performance skincare products!!!

Their commitment alone to the environment makes me really respect their company, but I actually really like the products, too! The Starting Over™ Age-erasing moisturizer with Mimosa is a great light-weight moisturizer that has left my combination skin feeling great! The tough thing with combination skin is that I need a moisturizer that really moisturizes my dry areas but doesn’t over moisturize my oily areas. I know, I’m so complicated. But Origins Starting Over™ does that! And I love it!!

Now, as a quick note, while they say that 94% of those using Starting Over™ Age-erasing moisturizer with Mimosa saw a significant reduction in the appearance of lines and wrinkles, I cannot attest to that. I’ve only been using the moisturizer for a few weeks but I do feel like my skin feels refreshed and am going to continue to use it. Who knows, maybe I’ll be back telling you that my daughter no longer thinks I look old!

The best way to really get an appreciation of the Origins skin care products is to experience them yourself and we want to give our readers a chance to do just that! We are giving away FOUR samples of Origins Starting Over™ just in time to get your skin summer-ready!

To enter, simply leave us a comment below letting us know your biggest skincare issue right now. Are you worried about wrinkles? Wanting to stay moisturized in the summer sun? Or just looking to try something new and better for your skin?

As always, you can earn even more entries:

  • Subscribe to our Feed
  • Sign up for our Newsletter
  • Spread the word to your friends via your blog, twitter, etc.
  • **NEW** Start or Reply to any video conversation at Say It Face To Face. Then leave a comment with the link to the conversation on Say It Face To Face. Your video conversation or reply can be about ANY topic.

If you are already subscribed and are on our newsletter list, you qualify for those two additional entries. Go ahead and leave your additional comments below.

This giveaway is open to US shipping addresses and closes on April 9.

I did receive a sample of Starting Over™ Age-erasing moisturizer with Mimosa in order to do this review and Origins is providing the samples for the winners. Receiving products for reviews does not affect my opinions stated in this post.

Since I am grandma but NOT that old, I still want to look good for grandpa. Yes there are wrinkles but so what. they are smile lines. Just a touch of foundation – not too bad.

I definitely need help with my skin I’m really old, I’m 41, lol. When I read your artical you made 30 sound so OLD, but I guess that was to promote this cream. It sounds fabulous n I’m into anything willing to help our planet. I am subscribed and all that other good stuff, so how do I get a free sample to try it out? :-). Tata, chat soon.

I worry about wrinkles! I can see some fine lines starting to form and am trying to figure out what to do to prevent them from getting worse!

I recently came across this moisturizer and am planning to try it once I finish my current bottle. As I enter my mid-thirties, I am starting to worry about wrinkles and how the many years of sun are going to impact my skin later in life. Yikes!

My biggest issue is keeping my skin young. I have great genes but I want to help those along. I give myself a facial every week, moisturize every night and day…however I’d love to try new products as well.

I have some hyperpigmentation (which I learned from a makeover at Origins — they do that kind of gathering for your friends, too) — and some general dulling of my skin. I love Origins stuff and would love to win this giveaway!

My biggest concerns are sun and hormones. The sun makes my skin so dry and I burn very easily. The hormones mean the whole world can tell when I have my period because I break out the day before it starts and the acne lasts until about 2 days after it ends.
