Getting old is rough on all of us.
Diesel, who is keeping things chill in his sunset years, belongs to my fabulous friend Connie Peters, founder of Modern Mama.
Olivia and I were over for a playdate at the Peters’ house last week and I happened to have my camera with me. Diesel looked up at me and I just had to grab my camera and capture him.
He can barely climb the stairs anymore. He is almost deaf and mostly blind, but he still has plenty of snap in his bite when I held out a cookie to entice a smile.

Great picture. Reminds me of my old dog Hurty who passed away last year. He was going blind and had a seizure condition.
