I have been posting Wordless Wednesdays for nine years. Tonight, I was curious about some of my first Wordless Wednesdays.
Here is one of the first Wordless Wednesdays I published. I posted this picture in May, 2006. But it is actually a photo from 2005, when my son, Jackson, who was three years old, was cuddling with his new baby cousin, Julia.
(Now, Jackson is thirteen and Julia will be ten this May.)
I just wish that when I was posting pictures back then, I didn’t make them so small. But finding the original photo on one of my old hard drives is more than I feel like taking on tonight.
UPDATE
And they keep on growing up…
Oh my goodness, how much do I love that photo??? It’s now July 2025 and I’m reminiscing as I browse through our blog and update posts.
Jackson is now a giant and Julia has just turned 20. She’s still on the shorter side and he still towers over almost everyone he meets. He’s 23 years old and has graduated from university with a business degree and a minor in computer science.
Time sure does fly by… just as the cliches warn us.
