Our Interview with TIM GUNN!!!

Tide_2636

Tim Gunn said we looked “FABULOUS!”

It was surreal. It was delicious. It was so. much. fun.

Yes, at BlogHer, Susan and I got to interview Tim Gunn!

I adore Tim Gunn. Project Runway is a satisfying treat that I stash away until my house is sleeping and I can indulge. And Tim Gunn is the sweetest part.

He always finds a way to be both honest and encouraging. And that is not simple. Tact is a lost art these days — especially on reality TV.

Meeting him in person was just as I imagined it would be. He is gracious, affirming and kind. A true gentleman.

And, of course, he had some important tips for how we thirtysomething moms should dress…

It’s your turn…

What would YOU have asked Tim Gunn?

Kmart DesignWe again thank Kmart Design for sponsoring these video interviews so that we can bring the BlogHer 09 experience home to you.

And isn’t it fun that Tim Gunn loved Sue’s Kmart jeans?!? He affirmed that, yes, we can look good on a budget and called Sue’s jeans “rapturous!”

Yeah Kmart!

That was a great interview! He was seriously the nicest, most genuine person I’ve ever met.

I love that he didn’t believe that you were identical twins! :) If Tim doesn’t believe you, I think I will also.

And I also loved when he got tripped up..”You’re showing off your beautiful…um…umm….figure…and”

What was on his mind? ;)
