Tackle It Tuesday – A Tackle In Process…

I didn’t quite get this tackle finished in time…

In fact – I am not even half way through. But I sure hope tomorrow I am able to finish it.

So here is what it is all about and where I am so far:

I have tackled my kitchen table and this little bookshelf numerous times. (The table is a continuous tackle, since not only is it our kitchen table – but it is also my office!)

Once again, I need to get back to the point where almost everything, but my computer, is off the table, so that I can quickly and easily move the computer to set the table for dinner. (At this point, it is usually just my husband, our son and I eating, so we eat on the clean side. But it is driving me crazy living this way!)

So, I need to get the books and stuff that I am not using on a daily basis off the little shelf so that I have room to keep my papers etc there. To do this I need to regain order on the other bookshelf in the kitchen/family room. This requires me sorting out books and moving them up to Jackson’s new room (which still isn’t painted or furnished, but hopefully we will have that mostly done by the end of next weekend!)

Here is the little shelf:

Here is my table:

So here is where I am at so far – I have got the stuff off…

And I have organized and moved some of the stuff off this bookshelf to make room…

NOW, I just need to continue on and sort all the papers, books, etc. This includes a bunch of filing and organizing. (The tasks I loathe most!) If I am able to get it all done tomorrow – well that will be a miracle! Perhaps it will take a few days… Hopefully I will have the after pictures up next week.

    Nothing fancy today…..just “the list.”

But the act of writing it and thinking about striking things out, keeps me motivated to get something done!

    Lookin’ great so far!! :o)

I, too, HATE going through paperwork. In fact, I tend to throw things away if I haven’t looked at them in a month or so. Bad idea when I throw away the cable bill. Oooops!!

    Blessings, Beckie :o)
